Yea cheers guys and thanks to Martin for the bonnet. Good man sir. Money will be on the way tomorrow sir. I complely forgot till i worked into it in the shed today The plastic stuff is quite strange and does have some kind of fibreglass or carbon feel to it. I have found a bumper but not to sure if its a good idea to get it as yet due to not having a body shop sorted yet. The chassis legs should pull out ok but depends on how they will be after but anything can be fixed for a price and some hard work

I managed to pick up the 350z project yesturday so the work began today. Well have been outside all day freezing my tits off.:lol Stripped it all down today so that i can check the damage out abit more. Both chassis legs are bent so i wont be spending anymore money till i get the body shop over to look at it. Its fixable but just need to make sure. Been out for a drive today and it drives so sweet. Has some good torque and is fun with the traction control off. :lol Had a few weird looks from the yocals but they didnt mind and where giving me the thumb up :lol The engine is sweet as a nut and hasn't been touched so all is good there. The only engine damage is a frayed aircon belt so happy days. Figured out why the passanger door lock didnt work. Just a user error again as you have to push the unlock button twice to unlock the passanger door. :lol The rear end damage is nothing bar a rear light cluster and maybe a bumper but hope to be able to fix that. I hope the boot lid could be fixed but if not i have found a carbon fibre one for £400 which will be painted to suit. The rear boot lids weighs a ton so the carbon will save alot of weight. All the suspension is fine bar the rear lower tie rod which is cheap so no major job there. I managed to bend it back into shape by jacking the car up by it today. :lol Here come all the pics:thumbs: This is how it started out today And how it ended up And how it looked for its little drive :lol Chassis leg damage on O/S and N/S All the bits removed today The front end that smashed to bits which is plastic. Whats left of the fans :lol How bent the front crash bar was  Damage to rear wheel. Is this fixable ? Rear boot lid damage The 2 nissans The rear end. Does the N/S exhaust tip look bent over abit?

Lucky git. Have a good Christmas mate and a great new year.

I have a 2001 Civc type r that is compleltly stock and it show up alot of big cars. The gearing on them is so short that they acclerate quite quickly. I have showen up a few E46 M3's round my way. Great little cars but as said you have to drive them freaking hard to get them to perform.

So you thinks its the handbrake shoes that have come dislodged? If so your wouldn't get a noise when pressing the brake pedal just using the handbrake. Was it like a scraping noise againt the concrete?
-
As said really hope
-
Yea it was a home made effort
-
So are they just to get rid of the heat soak then? or are they like spacers to make the inlet track longer? They say 11-15bhp increase ???????????////
-
Yea thats the one. It was alot cheaper before Ramsay visited to make it a booming company but still love the food and cocktails
-
He is dame good with his handbrake His other vids are awesome. I love the snowboarding one.

Sorry my bad. I see how it goes together now. There is a extra bit that goes between the add on's to the end cans.

I was looking at this the other day. Look thorugh the pictures and it seems to be two different kits? See if you notice it.

I don't think you could ever get bored in Brighton. Too many resturants and pubs to try out. I reccomend Mumma cherries soul food.

Ouch what a mess. You will be surpirsed at the forces acting on that car at even 30 mph. I crashed my first GTR in the same way. Lost control and ended up on top of a barrier doing a 50/50 grind into the nearest lamp post. That was done at around 25 mph.
-
Lucky man mate. You sure you where pressing the brake pedal Surface rust come's off almost straight away. You must of had some car cleaning products stuck to your discs

Pmed you mate

It doesn't take post codes? Thats pretty crap but i guess most built in sat navs are the same. I had a new astra a while ago and that was the same.

Cheers for the kind welcome guys. Yea the gtr is pretty flat up to 5500 rpm and then it just lets loose On the dyno it went from 180 bhp to 500 bhp in about 300 rpm Got to sort out the manifold and set the cams up to bring the power band down abit I have a Trust striaght cut dog box coming for it after Xmas so that should be fun Yea as i said the Z needs alot of work but I'm up for a challange. I just wish i learnt how to paint when i was at Uni then i would be doing everything on this I think i can get the car back on the road including buying it for a little over £5000
-
Oh cheers guys. Thanks for clearing that up for me. I was told it was a retro fit sat nav off the GTRoc.
-
Yea the GTR is alright mate bit tatty at the moment as i done a whole season of drag racing which destroys the car's . I was also on track at JTS and it caught fire but managed to fix it and drive it home:) Yea the car was first mapped at 1.4 bar of boost and made 500 at the hubs with 408 ftlb's. Now running over 1.6 bar , cams , and doing my own mapping so its abit of an animal when it finally comes on boost. Cant wait to get the 350z back as i have always had a soft spot for them and they are my wifes dream car. This came up after i lost an MR2 turbo project on ebay and couldn't refuse it for the price. Hope to get it back on the road by the end of Jan so that we can sell on the Civic type r

Yea i did see a remote in the center consul when looking over the car. Should be picking it up Friday. I thought it was a stock fit but do they do an option of not to have the buttons there? Also i didnt see the DVD player for the sat nav behind the seats.

To run a year urmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm. I dont want to work that out to tell you the truth. Put it this way its running around 600 wbhp and i have blowen the gearbox up 3 times this year. All with in about 1000 miles. They can cost a fair bit to run but if your not using them hard they are ok. I was returning an average of 24mpg per tank. Here is the R32 GTR. And the cheap 350z for rebuild. I think the guy that used to own it is on here.

Just brought a 350z Gt and i thought this was the stock sat nav but it appears to be different compared to what it says in the manual. Here is a quick pic. Any info would be great
