Oh good man Sounds exactly what my car is doing and to tell you the truth it has only happened since my ladt sat on the rev limiter as i was showing here the shift light. So i will check that this evening mate and report back. Fingers crossed

Cheers for the help guys. Is an annoying one to find. Especially when everything reports back fine. The biggest issue is it only really happend on idle. When you driving it nothing All cylinders have a spark so it has to be an air leak of some kind. The pvc valve on the rocker cover does make some nosie but when you spray carb cleaner onto it no air leaks?? Really pissing me off as i have only had the car 2 weeks and it has had too real bad scratches apear on a full repspray car. It was meant to be in the body shop last week to get it all sorted and then it starts missfiring. Peice of crap car i tell you

No the car is bone standard and only covered 16000 miles. Tad strange as everything came up sweet using the consult 2. Got to try a set of coils as the next step. It seem to be an intermitant fualt. All earth are fine a cleaned to make sure. Anyone ever had the 0300 code before and know what the fix was?

I need some of these as i look like a plank turning up in a stunning car then having to put everything on the floor and balance the boot on my head Cany afford them at the moment along with the missfire problem:rant:

Cheers for all the help guys Yea its a weird one. The warning lamp came on the other day as it started to missfire again. Missis took it to work and no missfires and the light has turned off I cant pin it down to one cyclinder which is annoying. I might just borrow a set of good working coils and go from there. As it is bringing up multi cyclinder missfire and not say 1 or 6 of for example i thought that it couldnt be a coil pack? Yea i have a spare rb26 at the moment now that would be alot of fun through the rear wheels

Yea that was what i was thinking about the injectors mate. The thing is they are all pulsing exactly the same as each other. After i replaced the plugs the fouling stop happening. I have checked the coil pack looms for a good earths and all is fine. What earth should i check mate? Or just all of them? Its a strange one that is really annoying me now. Everything is working as it should but still missfiring?????????? Going to try some injector cleaner to see if that sorts it but i doubt it will.

Well still no luck with the car. Changed the plugs and even plugged the car into a consult 2. Found everything to be in order. Reset the ecu and let it relearn the car again but still missing. Drives fine and has good power but pops on idle? Any help guys?

I know Abbey motorsport do the haltechs as i put one in my car today to see if my ecu has packed up. Ask for Mark he will help you out.

Hello Only had the car on the road for 2 weeks and it has started missfiring already not to mention 2 nasty scratchs after a full respray. Pretty pi**ed off with our 350z onwership already Right my lady started complaining about the car stuttering last week. I went out for a drive and couldn't find a problem. Then it started to slighly missfire on idle. I have managed to get the fault codes off the ecu by using the check lamp I have also done an ecu and throttle reset. It came up with 2 fault codes. One being powersteering pressure switch and the other being multiable cylinder missfire. NO @*!# I took the coil packs and plugs out. One plug was soaked in fuel so i thought must be a coil pack.. I moved the suspect coil pack to an easier position to unplug when the car was running. I unplugged it and there was a noticable difference in engine revs and note. I am working my way through the workshop manual going through everything it tells me. Anyone else had a problem so i can fix this thing a little quicker? Any help would be better then no help cheers Jamie

Mine has just started missing abit too. Fine for a a couple of weeks and then it just started missing now and then. Just done the throttle reset and ecu reset and no change. This car is pissing me off already.

The body shop just sent my loads of photos that they took should i put them up? Got to get the tracking all done as the steering wheel points towards the left a tad and i get a high speed wobble when i left off. To be expected after the rebuild Just need to get the Nissan badge for the front bumper and all done:yahoo: I really enjoy driving this car. The stock exhaust note is perfect.

Well put the last bits on it today like the arch liners and front number plate and rear suspension arm. Went to the MOT and it flew through. All on the road and legal. I know know what these cars are all about. Great fun and you feel specail when your in them All i need now is 2 sets of golf club in the boot to see if the sticker is true

Also is it a bigger oven then before. I.e drawing more amps? Breaker too small now?

I have had 3 gtrs and love them to death. I have gone through nearly every jap sports cars i.e evo 6, sti v2, rx7,gt4 st185rc,pulsar gtir,200sx and would only every go for a gtr again. There is something about them that just keeps you thinking about them My current one is an R32 with 650+bhp and goes like a rocket. Destroys motorbikes for a living and aiming for my first 10sec pass on the strip very soon. I have done 133mph is 11.1 secs so it goes well I would recomend them to anyone all day long.

Seems a bit strange why a 15000 mile 2008 car would get resprayed? Something odd there.

Cheers guys. It has been alot of work but all worth it in the end. I went for a quick drive today around the estate and it is a lovly car to drive. Now i know why you lot all bang on about them:lol: Wont be modding it in anyway as its for my wife to be but dont worry i will be driving it when i want to drive it Yea as soon as i recovery for the rebuild of this car i will get out to some meets to put some faces to name:P Quick question guys. You see the bonnet catch, is there meant to be a cover over that big opening? Also i here alot of you going on about clicking rear brakes, Is it just when you initally pull away? As i get a real faint clicking as it just starts to move and then its gone ?

Well done the gearbox oil , powersteering oil and antifeeze to day. All running sweet and driving fine Had a good rip around my estate today and it handles like a dream even with a bent suspension arm :lol Few pics of it pretty much done. Hope to get number plate tomorrow and mot it

Yea i have just had my whole car resprayed again and it had come out alot darker and alot more pearly. Is there anyone around the Camberley area with an Azure 350 so i could compare it?

JPC Auto Refinishing in Crainleigh. Just by Guilford / Farnham Great work from them and really happy. Just got to put some graft in tomorrow to get it all finished. What anti freeze do you lot use ? The nissan long life stuff or could i just use normal antifreeze with destilled water?
