I've had Falkens on the front and RE040 on the back with no issues whatsoever. My rears are now gone so I may switch to Falkens to match there, but i have enjoyed the RE040s.

I'm thinking my clutch is starting to slip, so reading all these threads is scaring me into heading to nissan for peace of mind. It would be good if someone who knew all about these clutch and flywheel issues to write a little something to help us noobs understand the situation a bit more, there's obviously a lot of information out there but summarising it all would be much appreciated.

I may search locally for someone who will do a similar price on the Falkens, I've had them on the front this whole time so I may as well get some on the back. I've had some fun on the Bridgestones so I shall be sad to see them go, I may try to find a way to give them a smokey send off.

Right, I've done so searching so I'm familiar with general opinions on tyres but would like to know if anyone has any specific advice for my situation. My rear tyres are approaching the wear indicators (they are RE040s) and I'm thinking about what to replace them with... they have lasted about 14k miles. My problem is that the garage put them on before I got the car and it has Falkens on the front which still have plenty of tread. Now I know that opinion is that tyres shouldn't be mixed but I've really enjoyed the bridgestones as they seem to slide quite gradually which is always fun, especially with the low tread at the moment . I'm just wondering whether it is worth getting bridgestones again or to go for Falkens to match the front. How progressive are the Falkens when they lose grip, I don't want a tyre which takes me by surprise.... hence why I like the RE040s despite the fact they arent the best tyre. Apologies if this is a dull topic that has been done to death, but its always nice to have a personal touch to any advice, cheers guys.

I've got one and I think it looks and sounds good. However, it was on the car when I got it so can't really offer a comparison to stock. I'm sure someone more useful will be along soon.

Right after a few more laps: Tuned: 1min 41.324 Road: 1min 52.231 That gives a grand total of 3min 33.555 and at the time it was position 432nd overall, but I bet it will be about 700 when I go back

Yep, I can see this eating a lot of my time. I'm currently 254th with my combined time, but I bet that's getting worse by the minute. Need to get back on....

Had a few nice mods, exhaust, wheels and looked lowered. Drove alongside for a bit until the 50 zone when my paranoia about speed cameras took over!

I was hoping somebody could recommend a Zed-friendly car park in Leeds centre for an evening (probably need it open past 11pm) as I'm heading to a gig there and refuse to use over-priced public transport with its excessive journey times. I have no local knowledge so don't want to park it somewhere and regret it! Any locals got any advice? If this isn't sufficiently Zed-related feel free to move to off-topic or something.

Yeah, just have it on a piece of card and stick it on the dash when it needs to be there.

I'm tempted to say its a bit too intense! Picked it up from Tesco for £25 quid with IL-2 (which isn't interleukin 2 for any biologists out there), even got £2.35 off my petrol. I think I actually prefer IL-2 to MW2 though!!

I agree; you wouldn't customize your tax disc, the plate is just something you have to have in a legal format. Most people probably think negatively of drivers with silly plates anyway as it just seems a cry for attention so I wouldn't bother, unlike exhausts of course which are needed for performance reasons.... obviously

Mine is a UK car and was first registered as PLG for some reason which means that its slightly cheaper than if it was on emissions for a 54 plate car. I have no idea how that happened though!

Anyone on PS3 notice the half-finished nature of this game? I love playing it but I really do feel they must have rushed the final development, there are glitches galore and some features that I really feel would add a lot to the game that are missing.

Just out for a pleasant drive in the countryside, coming round a downhill twisty corner, saw a rover waiting to pull out on the left and he was turning right, guess what he didn't wait!! I swerved to the right to try and go round him but he came forward again so i had to swerve even further - all this while braking I dont think I would have stopped in time without dodging him but fortunately managed to keep it all together and get round him, I thought he was going to tag my rear end. Damn scary but all in one piece. Just one of those reminders that things can go wrong at a moment's notice so stay safe out there guys

I have to admit I've never played forza but I just don't like the way the car looks like its behaving, I don't think the car model looks as good when cornering.... Its hard to place what exactly but for me GT5 (prologue) looks more like a real car.

The physics is nowhere near as real as GT5, for me it lacks the feel of weight that GT has always had. However, its still good enough to have some excellent fun much better than GRID and old NFS.... you can tell that the team behind GTR have been working on it, the racing is much better than the GT series and the sound is cool despite the fact its very unrealistic, I wish my zed sounded like the stock one in this game! I also turboed my 350 and with the TC off it becomes more than a handful, especially on twisty hilly tracks!

Good to say hi to people again and nice to see all the zeds looking cleaner than mine as usual. Was it just me that got confused by the roads in the middle of Leicester? I'm sure from above its all laid out logically.
