  1. Some skill shown here http://video.kenblockracing.com/flash/s ... autoplay=0
  2. Hi nurrish, Mine is also due its first service. I have no plans to sell soon but would advise using Nissan initially just for warranty reasons (if it's still covered). Unfortunately it's going to cost a bit more with Nissan. Best I've found so far in the area is Westway at £185 for P1
  3. for what a P1, P2 OR P3. If its for a P1 thats mighty expensive Thread topic -P1, though it seems to have gone abit of track I seem to be a bit limited in Brum. Colliers or Westway. As price started at £250 I thought £185 was getting reasonable for around here, though suggestions welcome . Want to stick with Nissan dealer to be safe if any warranty issues crop up
  4. Just been quoted £185 at Westway Nissan in Birmingham, down from initial price of £250.
  5. Every day for me, though I get an oncall van 1 week in 3. Pretty boring journey though, 40 mile round trip on the M6
  6. Been trying to get on with this kit but struggling. The black colour match is spot on but after applying the laquer this is where my difficulty starts . Leave it for the >20 mins < 48 hours and try and polish it down but the laquer touch up just keeps popping off. What method do people use to polish in the laquer. On previous cars I've used some t-cut or swirl remover and rubbed in with a cloth over a credit card (to give a nice flat edge).

  10. Cheers M13KYF. Worth a try for the postage as I don't really need new wipers yet. Let me know what the postage is and I'll PM you my details. Got Paypal if that helps.
  11. Spotted on the A46 heading towards M6/M69 junction Saturday around midday. Lady friend as passenger
  12. Cheers for the quick responce , may just pop to Halfrauds to get one tomorrow
  13. Knew it would happen. Closed the bonnet after washing and forgot to put the wiper blades down. Luckily no damage to bonnet but have snapped off driver's side spoiler. Is this something you transfer over when you buy new blades or do you just get a new one with a new blade set? 11 months old now so probably due some soon anyway. If I need to replace it I guess it's off to the parts shop next week, anyone know how much? Cheers

  15. Bloody hell Stan are you an Dyson expert? Thats the correct model number I've got one of those specifically for the car . I didn't buy it just for the car though, it's the old one from the house . Personally I love our DC07 with root cyclone technology spinning air at 178.9549 mph, generating centrifugal forces of 150,000G
  16. As I'd be coming along with the wife we'd probably do some sight seeing/shopping on the Saturday. I'll hold on and see what develops....could be persuaded

  19. Putting this up here for my friend Gez who's selling his Type-R. Unfortunately, he's not buying a Zed It is a 1999 'V' with an interesting Teg plate. Owned since May 05. It has Air Con. It has done 64500 miles. All previous MOTs - current one expires May 2009 Tax April 09 Full Honda service history up to June 07 including cambelt done at 58500 miles. Last serviced Sept 08 including gearbox oil & complete coolant change. Only used Silkolene fully synthetic oil. Always run on Shell Optimax & V-power. Car is in very good condition and has one or two sensible upgrades. Cat 1 alarm & immobiliser. ITG drop in air filter. Magnecor leads. Denso Iridium plugs. Red Dot grooved front discs plus Mintex 1144 pads all round. Goodridge braided hoses & Motul Dot 4 fluid Genuine Honda rear strut brace Clear repeater lenses. Sports horn. 6 disc CD player 4 good Toyo tyres. Folder full of receipts. Two keys & remotes plus Red key. All owner manuals plus original Honda promotional brochure. Now the negatives..... Drivers bolster has a small tear, approx 2cm. Bodywork has 3 very small dents (less than the size of a 5p with no paint damage) and a small scratch on the roof. Wheels could do with a refurb. Any questions please post/PM me or phone Gez on 07071049482 (phone safe number) £5,750 Based 10 mins from Birmingham airport for viewing Photos are of car with 'show' plate - not road legal.
  20. Maybe he was the cousin of that friendly copper who jumped out of the pub on the Bala run
  21. Not experienced this so just throwing in some ideas after searching the net. Not particular to the zed but reports say maybe something to do with speed information not getting through to cruise control (loose connection or something up with ECU). Therefore, it won't set because it doesn’t know the speed. Maybe if it does it again you could bring the digital speed display up and confirm what it's reading (assuming this comes from the same source). The second possible cause I found was that the cruise control takes a separate signal from the brake peddle. If this is open circuit or intermittent, it thinks you’re applying the brake and won't allow you to set it. Again, no personal experience so the above may be total tosh
  22. I only turn BT on when I'm in the car as I don't use it at all once out of the car. It also drains my battery something rotten but if this isn't an issue for you, probably more convenient to just leave it on. Your phone should just pair up with the Zed as soon as you turn the key, no need to set it up all again just because you have switched BT off/on. If you are using the BT and voice dialling, that now comes standard with the Zed coupe, you have to store all of your names and numbers into the Zed's BT system, if you want to use the voice control that is. As far as I know it will not use stored numbers that you already have in your phone. If you have a holder for the phone and are just going to use its controls re-storing all your numbers won't need to be done
  23. Just flicking through the owner’s manual and noticed a few paragraphs on the brake limited slip differential that confused me a bit. It sounds like this is part of the ESP and states that when one of the drive wheels spins the BLSD system brakes the spinning wheel. Is this separate from the mechanical LSD that I thought was fitted? If it is not how do the mechanical LSD and the BLSD work together? Thanks
