  1. Black '05 reg passing motorcycle museum onto M42 south at 15:45. I was one car behind but didn't get close enough to flash
  2. Yes, 2 tonne. Only tried it quickly and seemed to clear most though not all of the underside. I bit of meandering will get it in though.....or the plank method Doh! Never even thought to look at Wicks...I like to save my pennies
  3. Just picked up one of these for £15.59. Fits under most of the underside directly.
  4. Nice to have a confirmed sighting, I was starting to think I was imaginng seeing these zeds around . I was in my van so guess you didn't notice me
  5. Spotted passing Walsgrave hospital, along Clifford Bridge road this morning...looking (=clean)
  6. Did you get this sorted? I've just had very similar dink in mine but from an idiot in a car park . Although the double skinned rear makes it more difficult there should be little problem. Just had a quote for mine at £70. I was given 2 options: 1 Glue technique to pull it out but would only get rid of 60% of dent. The second option is to drill a small hole, under the wheel arch, fix the dent from the back then bung the hole with a grommet. I will post the results up in another thread once it's done.
  7. 1. Beavis Full Correction/engine/interior detail North Staffordshire Garage power/tap 2. Martinmac Full correction/engine/interior detail NE/NW London Garage 3. Maccaman Full correction/engine/interior detail North Staffordshire Garage etc. 4. Pingu2 Full correction/engine/interior detail SW London - no garage/no power/no water! 5. WoREoD Full correction/engine/interior detail South Oxfordshire - no garage (off road driveway with power/tap 6. Rentech full correction - east Birmingham - water and power but no cover (no exact dates for me, just after the nasty road salt has gone and before the May Wales drive. The later the better).
  8. Had this problem with the my last few cars. Think my problem is amplified with the fact that I have to park on a hill, requiring more hand brake to hold. As previously mentioned, moisture seems to increase the problem. If I forget (or don't have time) to take the car for a spin, after washing the car, it can really 'clonk' as the brakes free up from the discs. Not sure if new brake disks will help, just a trait.
  9. Past me, in the opposite direction, today at 14:30 by Corley services. Only spotted at the last minute so did't get chance to wave

    Stubby Aerial

Still got the standard one myself but seen several comments similar to this. Am I correct in reading 'OK' as 'reception not quite as good as the original'?
  11. Spotted today parking up on the road outside Sainsbury's. Looked like you was walking over to the other retail park. Safer on the road than in the nasty car park
  12. Spotted at 19:00 tonight driving up passed solihull ice rink. Could just make out it was a zed under all that snow....you brave man or lady
  13. Use autoglym metal polish myself. Seems to do a great job and only £4.99, though it is a smaller size. You don't need much so either will probably last you forever if you're just polishing the tips Will have to give the autosol stuff a try though Halfrauds seems a bit steep at £5.48 for 75g when the polishing shop are doing 100g for £2.89

    RIP S2000

Test drove a few sometime before looking at the Zed. If it wasn't for the pittance they offered px for my CTR I would be driving one now. But then I would have never have experienced the beast that is the Zed A black S2000, with hard top, passed me the other day and did look very
  15. Spotted a black zed this afternoon at around 15:30 on the slip road next to the A45, looked like you were heading the airport way. Only glimpsed in my rear view mirror so not sure of model or reg.
  16. Silver 04 Zed driving past the ice rink at Hobs Moat this evening at around 19:00. I was in the wife's fiesta so didn't wave
  17. Welcome to the forum . Mines just over twelve months old so not sure if it has changed since then but nice black leather Z wallet holds: 350Z owner's manual(includes use of handsfree), Navigation System owner's manual, Warranty and Maintenace Record booklet, Nissan anti theft booklet and *2 Nissan roadside assistance booklets
  18. Can't comment on the Collinite, but I also moved up to more 'professional' products after joining this site. What were you using to buff off the polish? If it is still the old trusty t-shirt that may be adding to the problem. I had always used an old piece of cotton t-shirt since my youth along with turtle wax original . Bought myself some Meguires gold class and could I shift this stuff - not. Now use a micro fibre cloth and it makes the job a lot, lot easier. Use my fingers to apply and microfibre to remove my current wax
  19. I have been leaving a small recess for the final laquer. The nissan kit 'paint' seems to be better described as ink! Is this because it is water based? The car is so dirty at this time of the year the odd chip is out of site out of mind. Not untreated, mind you, just not smoothed off to my exacting standards
  20. As you said 'dear' in your original post, I was imaginging some old, frial, 80 year old granny (old dear) flying through the air Luckily the other variety Hope you get it all sorted.

  22. Spotted northbound on the M6 at around 16:30 today. I would have waved but as I was in the work's van I guess I'd have looked a bit daft I left at the M42 junction but you carried on up M6
