  1. looks to me that motordynoe are still using the black type gaskets on their kits. this kit has some more goodies in it though then just the spacer.
  2. You need one gasket on each side so OEM gasket stays and sits between lower plenum and plenum spacer underside and then on the top you need a gasket between the plenum spacer and the upper plenum chamber. If you look on motordyne website I think you can buy a full set of toys for 45$? Anyway some manufactors actually dont use the inside 6 bolts and cover the wholes up instead of using the nylon spacers (these dont cost much either way). Depending on how much you need to spend on manufacture of the part itself and all the bits I think you'll do good to get away under 100£ It all depends on how much you need to pay someone to create this for you and also if you can get away with not using a gasket (using gasket on tube or similar product instead might be ok?) 3. The minute amount of dirt build up will not cause a problem, plus you can potentially do more harm than good by taking the throttle body apart. If you are getting a large amount of dirt build up then your air filter is not filtering properly or your engine internals (valves and valve guides, or pistons and rings) are worn. mmm not sure but think the Z throws back quite a lot of oil after hefty revving (inspired driving) Installed an Oil catch can a while back to catch anything going into the plenum chamber itself. Looking at getting one for the intake side also since my Z seem to suffer a bit from this. Did a compression test and got 12.5 on all cylinders bar one that shown 12...so all good there. The filter is cleaning as it should so not worried there.
  4. not sure what mine was made off, I'd say you could easily copy one type of spacer. The one I had was same width the whole way around. Oh here it is: 10mm thick, waterjet cut from single aluminum plate. << Then you need another gasket for the plenum spacer and also a gasket for the internal and some nylon spacers and bolts and if you want to reuse the normal strut bar you would need spacers for them too. Sure a quick google will give you all the stuff you need. Best of luch with it!
  5. You Are wrong about cleaning the tb, they get dirty
  6. Well worth it in my opinion even if you don't track the car the price mentioned is for a uprev tune and dyno and not justto get 100% throttle response
  7. Well wouldnt want to see you waste monies going to them that all... mods breating easier 'should' make it leaner...
  8. you seem to have a few mods, you dont think you should take it to an uprev tuner for a health check?
  9. well took you up to 34£ I ain't going higher then that

  13. Its a John Bean 4 wheel lazer alignment machine Sure Mitz can ellaborate. EDIT: Piccie stolen from Nurrish Ah yeah had one of them done to mine too, cost me 80€ Strange thing though the guy working on it hadn't a clue about how and what he was doing really, just picked the model/type age and size tyres and the machine told him what to do Not sure how good they would be then if the operator knows nothing and you come in with a set of aftermarket wheels...
  14. Was those for a laser type jobbie?
  15. Abbey charged 100 quid for it on another thread.
