  1. The police seem to have a number of leads and as my car wasn't the only car damaged that hopefully means they have a decent amount of evidence to get someone. To be honest it's down to a quick thinking neighbour hearing what was going on and calling the police so quickly that they have managed to get on to things straight away. I live right in the centre of town and unfortunately we don't have a drive or a garage. There is residents parking which is what I use, sometimes outside the house, sometimes along the road a bit, depending where I can find a space. I'm going to look in to renting a garage if I can find one near and which isn't stupidly expensive. or even get a car cover mate... so the drunk fecking hooligans cant actually SEE your car... wish you luck man!
  2. well in my early years I used to use fairy liquid to wash my car... and it took more then the wax off I'd say!!! Not sure re meguiars products if they keep the wax on the car but surely better then fairy liquid. I use baby Johnson shampoo these days and it's class and smells nice too Why don't you wax if properly every say 2 months and then use a quick detailer or wet wax after every wash? Takes 10 minutes to put on and off!
  3. Man thats horrible thing to come out to! You are lucky coppers seem to be interested and they got leads... can you put a gate or something on your drive? I'd be gutted... absolutely gutted...
  4. Good organisation Bennet! I know if I did a ring trip it would have to either be a needed break in UK Folkestone before heading across to Calais France> and then do 4 1/2 hours to the ring in Germany, would cost stupid amounts in ferry crossing from Dublin to Holyhead though and petrol would probably have to go for a longer period of time then 3 days to make it worthwhile. Have fun guys and be safe!
  5. go for it! Well done so far Ian, shame you didn't fit the injectors (guess you didn't) looks like the Cosworth plenum you need to take it off before fitting the injectors? What return system did you go for? *Pump? How did it feel when you rev'd the engine and it died and didn't want to start again! Panic stations!
  6. confront him... and let us know what happens As for browsing non work related sites on working hours ... you've not got a leg to stand on IMO. Get an EEE PC style laptop and get a usb dongle and do as much smurfing as you want on your own time (coffee breaks, lunch etc) They seem to think that you are not working properly if they banned a site they know you sit on so don't give them anymore ammo, the advice to use your own PC at home will only get you past the banned site issue you have but will probably eat more bandwidth from the company pipe and that might upset them even more...
  7. Stop throwing in alternatives or he'll never make up his mind Andlid Kid in a sweet shop comes to mind sorry... would love them if they didn't have the bolts on the side.... = pain to clean
  8. for anyone to be able to answer and help you you'd need to find out what wheels are on it first.
  9. and this driver is actually a bus driver!
  10. what wheel are currently on the car
  11. What wheels are on the car? Seems that Eibach has the spacer market pretty much wrapped up... you coming from the german sector should be able pick some up nicely cheap Have no personal experience with spacers but people seem to run 20mm all around with standard wheels no problem. Was trying to find a thread / read that stated the recommended offset's areas... I'll see if I can poke around a bit more and post it up here for you.

  14. Well I'm using spread betting so not buying the share itself. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Spread_betting Look at those links posted in the thread they are pretty good, then you need to decide where to trade from (broker). Quick tip, don't invest any money you cannot afford to loose. A good while back I started with fonds got pretty bored quickly and moved onto shares that bored me too pretty quickly and you need a big investment to start off with to see any big gains so moved from that onto stock options and from there warrants and then concluded with me melting myself with hit warrants You need to have some sort of interest in reading the business news I'd say and soon enough with a bit of trading you get a feel for what's what. I used a broker in Sweden a good while back but for the UK market I've got no experience in brokers and can't advice you where to turn. CMC markets does exist in the UK and they had a pretty good help guides on their webpage and offer some sort of startup pack once you register with them. http://www2.cmcmarkets.co.uk/en/content/education.html
