Just got myself a new HTC phone, had cracked my G1 a month ago and couldnt be arsed repairing it when a new HTC phone would cost me the same... Went out and got a HTC DESIRE, have to say I do love the HTC and Android OS but holy feck this is a cool piece of kit... compared to my old G1 it's like nothing I've seen so far on the smartphone market... and compared to an Iphone...well you can't compare... its amazing in every aspect... was out for meal and drinks just now and thought hey I'll try google maps to see if it's got any better on this firmware... I did and AMAZED that they've put on the google navigate stuff on the Android 2.1 (should have read up on this prior to buying but hey....) it's amazing getting a full featuered sat nav and phone in one with google earth views! Whoohoo bonus for me since I crapped my garmin nuvi last year travelling on my bike. If you've not looked into HTC yet... then DO! the new 1Ghz CPU's give some amazing performance and they've finally stopped closing down apps and reopen them when you need to re-access them, currently using full caching and multitasking... why go rear engine? Its all calculated cost here... maybe some people think that instead of selling and buying another car they put in 15k into the car they have and keep it for a few more years. Draw down the monies put into the car for say 2k per year... I'm going to go on the cheap (hopefully) and get plenty of power

right lads, I'm asked every day more or less what panel filter to recommend and to be honest I've used this old test to make my own decision to state use APEXI: http://www.mkiv.com/techarticles/filters_test/2/ Anyone know if there are other tests out there thats a tad newer? FYI that Apexi lets enough air in too... (tried it without airfilter in dyno shop and gave same results, thats not to say that if you have massive mods it'll be enough but enough for my setup anyway) Please give some input!

after some reading you seem to havea problem with the pedals timing resulting in the engine light not starting to flash after 12 seconds? (the easy method) It does sound like you got a slipping clutch. Can you try and put the car into a higher type gear and go uphill somewhere and see if the car starts slipping on the clutch? Search for 'easy ecu reset' and you'll find following that will be 100% better and easier then the normal one.!

mirrors were done by Racoon in east anglia really nice bloke called steve cooper. mirrors cost £40, but i supplied my own material would you have been able to copy that yourself? (did you watch them do it?)
