  5. I didn't know this.... I've noticed that from first to second at 6500 would give me the clunky shift, but when I do a stand still start the revs go up so quickly that I miss the 6k rpm Lots to learn............ give us your reg plate so I know not to buy your car

  10. I never rev full on first and throw in second...I instead drive of a bit in 1st and then throw in the second and then wohooaaa! Also trying not to hit the limiter... finding that a bit harder... sounds lovely

I haven't yet heard of gearbox failure, is it in the states that the box was wrecked by any chance You implying that they dont know how to shift? We're talking standard clutch / flywheel here so anyone going to FI would upgrade at least the clutch to a nicer gearbox engaging friendly one
  13. They are the solenoids - they provide the juice from the bottle to the air induction pipe. They will spray variable amounts of laughing gas into the intake' date=' dependant on gear, rev range and so on. Mark's set it all up and it works fantastic - very smooth delivery. Yes that is the "GO" switch. Enable the bottle flick the switch and the Max Controller will light up, feeding me data about bottle pressure, RPM and bottle volume/contents. From here I'm set to go, although any revs maintained under 4k and I'm not yet using the system. So, I can activate on the way home, if I feel that some chav wants a short sprint, just take over the 4k mark and hey presto! Simples.   14. The gearbox does NOT like to be geared from 1st to 2nd at high RPM's... and not sure it'll hold either. I'll see if I can get a clip showing a dude wrecking his gearbox going from 1st to 2nd.
  15. Thats a spacer allright Not sure re the problem, think that it might be a air leak somewhere O2 sensors for the cats maybe? (should throw up a different error though), maybe have a look at the airfilter box, sensor (clean with electronic spray), could be a small leak somewhere around the plenum (dont think so though but it might). Maybe take her down to a garage and have her checked out? where are you based?

  17. Totally agree with you there. Do you mind explaining the photos? I'm like yeah that box looks cool, wow so much stuff ripped out, what's with that red cable going to the engine bay where there are two battery things where it states power...:-D etc... a bit lost...
