  1. you'd prolly need someone with welding experience in stainless and a shop fitting it for you...
  2. http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/NISSAN-350Z-SKYLI ... 35ace36b9c thats flipping cheap, might need that down the line...

  4. feck sake, got confused looking online since people seem to like to spell it either way... knew it was vice I needed when I started off... not sure what type of torq itll have to take... need to figure that one out Id say... thats not a bad idea at all... bet theyll keep it for themselves though might try the local around me before I get going... tell that to the whole lot of people spelling it whatever way they want! got more hits on some of the selling sites misspelling it!!
  5. oh I thought it was same person/trader actually
  6. Trying all day today to either buy a vice or get someone that has a vice to lend it to me... with NO luck I'll be needing one for tomorrow's diff work... I'm trying to figure out if I can use something else then a wise to do what I need to do... any ideas would be greatly welcomed since I've got a few ideas but all involve a bit...errh of experimenting to say the least Was thinking on using two tyres and push them together with the car and the wall or use a hydralic jack to push the diff against a wall / wall (with cloths wrapped around them...) any other ideas that might involve something that'll actually work?!? A This is what I'm trying to achieve:

    Got a new camera

    try that? (forward 5min...)
  8. caliper? Don't get it... you measured it? I thought you'd use Gear marking compound and then check the pattern (example below) then compare that to some sort of acceptance pattern (like below), I was planning to get some marking compound this afternoon and pondering on how to get enough height under the car to make this happen tomorrow since my hydralic jack decided to fold on me http://www.differentials.com/install.html I'd say its plenty of difference in the car with a different gearing in it
  9. holy crap only took a few months to get the pics up Explain the plural in this: Plenum spacers <------ Out of intereset are you going for lower spacers too? Motordyne roll bar kit <----- let me know how you get on with these might get a set of them if I'm not happy with the kit on the way since I didn't go down the roll bar route The car looks awesome very nicely kitted out, not sure it's high enough for them roads!
  10. BTW in IT too and it's bloody hilarious Might see if I can figure out how to master such a shoot, I know a bottom of an airfield that has a nice collection of water...

  12. Sweet ^ Was it hard to do the diff work ? Planning on getting the LSD into mine tomorrow or Sunday (all going well) What did you use to mark the diff to make sure the gear lined up? Must be great fun going sideways like that A.

  19. you should be ok if it's a RWD... don't fecking try it with a Volvo S60! FAIL FAIL! Think STEW had the best option there , maybe not tell them that you want to see if it can get up your drive without scraping the bumper
