  1. Just like to point out Sarnie loves these Touring V2 (otherwise known as GT4s) But hates these V2 Rays (the new rays track wheels) Big difference
  2. Just one step away from a pink flourescent one
  3. So if the line is not there they are sweet??? Actually the reason I like these is because they are the only nissan OEM running a 10" rear and a 9" front. The GT4s only run a 8" front and a 8.5" rear I have took the recent decision to mod for performance only and I like the wide profile Can I say that I hate Yellow and orange cars. They look like a fruit basket:P
  4. So why do you think the nismo alloys are nasty. They are pretty much exactly the same as yours with a line indent in the spoke. Are you that fussy?
  5. £650. Thats really cheap. And they look the best I have seen on here. Much rather have these than any others. Now, if only I had a white car!
  6. If you dont like these wheels, then you dont like the GT4 special editions and the Rays V2 track wheels also. They are more or less the same. Is that the case?
  7. How true. Everyone seems to be obsessed with looks. You spend most of the time inside your car, driving it. Looks are not for you, they are for showing off to balding fat men from Bradford with freaky car obsessions!
  8. It makes achange from the LMGT4s though. I'm bored of seeing them. The Nismos in silver look too much like the GT4 alloys from the special edition Which are the standard wheels for the base models in the US. Gunmetal looks better. Nissan! We need more choice!
  9. A couple of questions though. 1. Who are POTN? 2. What size did you go for on the rims. were they 19x8.5, 19x9.5 or did you get a mixed set? 3. How much did you pay? (I saw them in halfords yesterday, no price on them though and couldnt find an asisstant)
  10. Are we ever going to see the US new style nismo alloys in this country and how much will they be?
  11. I remember good drum scanners costing 10 to 20k back in the day. Scanners are a lot cheaper now though. I replaced my £2000 one with a cheapy epson one. It depends on what quality you are after. If you want to just blow them up to 7x5 photo sized prints. I'm sure it will give ok results.
  12. Remember it can only go on 55 plate or newer cars too
  13. I just want to see you driving round with your new ings kit and a bloody great purple patch on it
  14. In the name of science. I will get hold of a sample piece, if someone wants to stick it to the front of their car and leave it on for a couple of months. You can report back the results then. It probably wont be a large piece as this stuuf costs a fortune per metre. So any volunteers to have a coloured piece of vinyl stuck to their bonnet for a couple of months?
  15. Dont get me wrong, a pretty good level of quality can be achieved. I just wouldnt do it to my car Best to find a car that had a vehicle wrap done to it 6months or a year ago and see how the finish has held up. I'm sure a graphics shop will show you a newly wrapped panel, looking perfect but give that panel a month of driving at high speed, having stones thrown at it and having women open their car doors on it in supermarkets and I'm sure it will look a lot different
  16. Tears was a bit extreme of me what I was trying to get at was when a stone hits your front bumper or bonnet it can make the vinyl ride up a little. I have worked with vinyls/graphics for 15 years and still dont think its a great finish and its not that durable. It marks and indents quite easily. And even if your car is waxed and clean, dust and crap will get on the adhesive during the application process. Make sure pros can do it in a very clean workshop or the finish will suffer.
  17. Yes but your car has to be immaculate before they fit it. The tiniest spec of grit or a shows up as a massive lump. I wouldnt advise anyone get this done unless they hate the idea of a respray. The finish may look OK for a short while but will scratch and scuff easily and stone chips and scratches that you could touch up or buff out with a paint finish will be more like tears and rips and whole panels will need re-doing. Your car wont be as shiny as a nice paint job either.
  18. As long as they keep it as a sort of car magazine format it will always be taken more seriously. We dont need another top gear. 1 is enough. I'm kind of getting bored of Top Gear. My mate at work has a friend who works on the show and he says they have real trouble thinking up new ideas for the show. I'm just tired of seeing yet another pointless (Pre-timed) race across some country or another, or some race against some rock climbers/skiiers/skateboarders. I wish they would do a few more pieces on modded cars though. JC goes on about how "this ferrari churns out a massive 570bhp". Lets get some modded cars in there to blow them away with 1000/1500 bhp (Dodge Viper with 1546hp vs Buggati Veyron) Be good for them to get 20 grand to buy a car and mod it. Then see what cars it could beat in a race. A toyota supra or a 300ZX spring to mind
  19. Eh! dont call her tart I have a soft spot for her. Any girl into fast cars and racing is OK in my book. Beats having to talk about shoes, shopping and what Victoria Beckham's latest haircut is like with them all day....... ............(unless shopping is about mods )
  20. Yes the username/avatar is kind of femme Sorry for thinking you were a girl And £5 is not nearly enough for me to bat for the other side. My limit is £14 and not a penny less!!!
  21. Dont listen to Clarkson for car advice. Fifth gear is for car reviews. Top gear is just for fun.
  22. Yeah that seems a bit weird that they are not mirrored. Love the wheels though Good tyre choice too. I love my Vreddys
