    MREV2

Did you say angled plenum spacer? I did mention that the silver spacer i have is angled didn't i??? Good write up, in the wrong forum index again! I have to say i was a bit sceptical about the Mrev2, but you've proved that it does work, and it'll be interesting to see what amount of horsepower this has gained. Thanks for the compliments too cheers Bennet.
  4. I get the brakes binding as well, but it must be the handbrake shoes sticking to the drum, cos it doesn't do it when i leave it in gear with the handbrake off.
  5. Thats because he sold them early
  6. There's potenzas and continentals on them. Not sure at the mo, whats on the front and whats on the rears. I think there may be slight kerbing on 1 of the wheels but again i'll have a good look tomorrow, and maybe take some photos.
  7. By the way what torque wrench did you use after? The smallest 1 i've seen is halfords motorcycle wrench.
  8. Uk cars don't come with the coolant valve???
  9. Jeees, some weird sicko's over there
  10. Obviously, the circumstances could be beyond the traders fault, due to postman Pat getting lost. But a simple apology for the delays, would of gone a long way to calm down customer relations.
  11. Nice rant Bennet, but you put this in the wrong forum index what are you like. It must be due to your blind rage
  12. Have you considered having them refurbished? You could get the kerbing repaired for around 30 quid a wheel, or a full refurb for around 70 quid a wheel. I've got a set of 4 that i may be willing to sell for 200 quid with good tyres, if you are interested. I was hoping to keep them as spares but i need the space unfortunately.
  13. What's wrong with yours?
  14. Blue is easier to clean than black
  15. +1 I'd be up for that too
  16. Needs lowering
  17. I was going to slate you for not having a good look over the car when you viewed it, but i did exactly the same. I was so excited that i just had a quick look around, then jumped in and took it for a spin. Unfortunately, mine was a totally unmolested example, so no goodies to find. Although thats not to be sniffed at. You'll be hard pressed to find a Z in standard form now.
  18. Good on you Matt, they look as good as tein, kw's etc and will probably out last the car with that build quality.
  19. Whats with the stillen louvres Are they coming back into fashion or something? When i was in the capri club many years ago, all the boy racers used to fit them on their cars, and they all had the p*ss taken out of them until they took them back off. It'll be the fluffy dice next
  20. This is about the best i've ever been on
  21. From what i've seen, a lot of top drivers are using them. The quality does look top notch
  22. The discs and pads will degrade with age as well, so being that old will definitely need replacing before you have a total failure.
  23. yes they do Dan
  24. don't worry fella I hadn't forgot about you. I must admit that every single person that's seen my new car loves the orange leather, everyone that is except me! I'm assuming if we did do the swap we'd change the hand brake, gear knob and steering wheel too? I'll give it a couple more days and see if I get used to it, if not we'll exchange some pics of our interior and we'll take it from there. PS - how far west along the coast of South Wales are you? I'm in Porthcawl which is about 20 miles past Cardiff along the M4 motorway. You may grow to like the orange but if not pm me and we'll get it sorted
  25. If i was you i'd ask on other forums. The driftwork team must like them. And if they are british made then all the more reason to buy them if they have good feedback. You could start a new trend
