I wouldn't touch it with a barge pole unless you really know how to get it repaired properly, or you are going to use it as a track car. There's all sort of sensors, modules and other important bits needed to make the car 100% safe again. Anyway and get a decent zed

Mine did that as well but wasn't so bad in top gear. Its just a characteristic of the z.

I too was looking at getting that sub box. But i may just make my own as i am a competent carpenter. In regards to the size, you can easily decrease the internal volume by adding some extra mdf glued inside, which will deaden it even more at the same time.

Just be careful if you do fit that tyre. Running 2 diffrent tyres on the same axle will affect the handling in all weathers!!! Take it really easy and hurry up and save for the proper tyres all round. We don't want another casualty

There's a few options out there. The APS TT would be interesting but that could be a money pit and my insurance company wouldn't see the funny side I'm looking at an 05 sunset at the moment and may go and view it on the weekend if the seller lowers the price a bit. Keep them coming though

.............................After writing a nice email to them, and showing them some links of Zeds for sale, they have quite quickly upped the offer to £11,100 I wont push them for any more as i think thats a very good offer. Only snag is i had a £750 excess reason being i took out the cheapest fully comp i could find and obviously didn't expect an accident So once the paperwork is sorted probably within a fortnight, i'll have £10,350 to play with, maybe £11k if really needed. Now i'm on the hunt for a GT sunset zed preferably '04' or newer. If all you members could keep an eye open for me that would be a great help. I did notice a slight mark on the brace where it rubbed on the one side, although i didn't get round to fixing this due to obvious reasons. Shouldn't be too difficult to sort out, and you may find different cars with different strut braces, may not have the same problem.

Yes it does, i had the summit strut brace on mine. It comes with large washers that are placed under the mounting points of the brace, which gives it that extra bit of clearance.
