I know what you are saying, but i'm actually going to a dealers tomorrow to look at an 04 sunset zed. Ok it may have 70,000 on the clock but its less than 10k!!! At the end of the day if you're happy with the car, and you get good service from the dealer, then keep it and enjoy it.

It looks like the top bit is in too far and just needs realigning. Very nice headunit by the way, good choice

If he's fitted "cheapo" discs and pads, i wouldn't be happy at all. I've seen '54'!! plate Zeds with less than 40,000 miles for 11.5k and under!!!

You should already have brembo discs and pads on, unless they've been changed in the past. If you're happy with brembos then get a price from Nissan, then when you pick yourself up off the floor give a trader like CS or the Chillies a ring and see what they can offer you

I'd say you'd be better off going for something different. I had Ferodo DS2500 pads and Dba 4000 discs. A better combination than the brembos and i think cheaper as well. Loads of other good combinations out there depending on how much you want to spend.

I've had mine up to the 155mph top speed quite a few times and its got there with ease. It just pulled all the way.

Get the alternator checked out as well, just in case.

If you haven't already done so, have you had the car serviced? Otherwise changing the spark plugs and air filter will be worthwhile . Another thing a few of us have done is clean the throttle housing. It does get a bit dirty inside and if you take it off you can give it a clean both sides, but do not move the butterfly valve as it could render the throttle useless. Although i moved mine more than once and it still worked. When i cleaned mine it improved idling, and throttle response seemed better too. Overall well worth doing.
