  1. Actually with all the problems members have had with rounding nuts off and the spacer nuts vibrating loose, i would say that the system 6 ones are better. There's a bit more work involved in fitting but it isn't that difficult. You have to tap the original studs back through the hub, and fit the news ones in by getting the splines lined up, and use a nut the same size as the wheel nut and tighten it onto the stud which will pull it in at the same time. It is time consuming but it is a good set up.
  2. Look bl**dy gorgeous. One thing that bugs me about the red zeds is why didn't nissan offer Red and black or all red seats? I think that would stunning. If i bought a red one i'd seriously consider getting them done.
  3. Hi Mark, the lower collector is basically a modified MK1 version, the same as yours. This was discussed on a previous thread a while back. Hardly any benefit to the older engines although it would let a bit more air in. Only for the rev ups really, as the collectors are different. Anyway its sold The bigger spacer is still available but needs the fitting kit. Its 3/8ths in thickness so will be compatible with the bolts etc from the motordyne set up. Apparently its mainly used on highly modded engines and very expensive, so i was told. I'm letting it go for 40 quid if you're interested. Cheers
  4. Well done Stew you got there before me
  5. I don't think you'll see any for that price just yet.

  12. Find out the diameter, if they are 58mm, then its the same as the rays.
  13. I've worked in the construction industry virtually since leaving school. I'm now 43 and in the past 10 years there's been a steady influx of "foreign workers" up to a point, where, in one instance in August 2007, i was sent to St Albans to work on a new car park, opposite the train station. There were at least 300 operatives working there, and i must say i felt like i was working in another country!! Apart from myself there was one other welsh guy, three Scottish guys, twelve from Ireland, and surprisingly there was no more than ten English people there and that included the secretary and management! Everybody else was made up of Albanians, Romanians, Hungarians, Lithuanians, Kosovans, etc etc, and plenty of Mr Singh's from India . Although some of these, mainly the Indians, have been given the '@*!#' work to do, a lot of the other europeans are carpenters like myself. But not being funny i don't know how they get away with it half the time. I was constantly asked how to do this and how to do that, it just pi**ed me off knowing that most of them were blagging it. Of course all the money they were earning, at least 75% of it was going back to their families in eastern europe. And they were taking all the overtime off us British The other problem as well is there are quite a few with false passports, 'Illegals' working on our sites. I was told that dodgy passports were easy to get hold of no matter where you were from Anyway what i'm saying is there are many British workers unemployed at the moment, including myself (but not signing on, i might add), who are struggling to find work. If they could root out all the illegals that would be a start, and then sent all the immigrants home who committed offences, as Ming said, that should put nearly all our skilled workers back where they belong 'ON SITE', and off the dole. I was laid off two weeks ago, but instead of wasting time filling out forms in the dole office, and getting pittance in state hand outs I have been looking for work and hopefully i've got a start on the last week of June building a new hospital near Aberdare. over
  14. My fascia is a metra and there's no chance of it going out of shape. Once the battery is charged on my camera i'll take a few shots of it with head unit in place to show you the difference.
  15. If you could, it would be interesting to find out.
  16. All items that have been paid for, are now with postman pat who reckons you should get them tomorrow we'll see. The wheels will be picked up on monday and hopefully delivered for tuesday.
  17. Ok just got it sorted with interparcel for 38 quid. Those standard wheels are heavy though nearly 100kgs for all 4 with tyres. At least its sorted now
  18. Is he still around? Haven't seen any posts of his up for awhile.
  19. Does anyone know of any cheap or even free sites where i can get a vehicle history report?
  20. Whats the mileage?, maybe time to change the spark plugs as well. If its due for a service take it in and see what they come up with.
  21. Thanks for that i'll give them a ring and see what they say Mark. I've dealt with interparcel and they are very reasonable, so i'll get a quote off them as well. Just need to find the weight of these wheels. I hope i don't break the scales
  22. I know this has been asked before but i'm not one for paying attention I have a set of wheels and tyres that have to be delivered from South Wales to Suffolk. Can anybody recommend a cheap courier. And what is the best way to package the wheels? Would i need to box them up, if so where could i get boxes that big? or could i just wrap them up securely. Thanks in advance.
