  1. Seen a black one in Llantrisant on Sunday and it looked hard as nails. I might get one and respray it in sunset orange mmmmmm
  2. How about painting it the same colour as the car.
  3. I had some locking valve caps on mine, basically a waste of time cos they will seize on and you'll end up having to take it to a tyre depot and having new valves fitted.
  4. The way ebay is going at the moment you'll sell them easily for loads of dosh
  5. 19th or 20th September, Mart... Just had a look, nothing seems to be happening that weekend, so could be a good weekend to pick... Im not working that weekend so I'll make the trip up, im sure a few more from down here will make the trip up aswell You sure now Ian we know what you are like If i'm free i wouldn't mind popping up for this one.
  6. My guess would be the bonnet
  7. Its up to you guys for how long we keep this open for? Maybe close this in a fortnight and get the order in, or wait until we get a confirmed 15 or 20 members and start taking deposits. Majority rules
  8. That was a bit under the belt from St3v50z. As austin350z said you should of pm'd him first instead of publicly attacking him. Yes i sold these to austin for £80 and yes he did at his own expense have them primered. I did check these for fit and they did require a little trimming for them to sit flush against the bumper. As with most aftermarket kits, they do require some fettling to get a perfect fit and a good body shop or even a competent diy'er wouldn't have a problem with these. I bought 2 sets of these from ESR and was told they were Shine products. I sold the other set to another member on here and have had no comebacks. For £60 you have had a bargain, so there's no case for complaint. All i can say is if you still aint happy give them back to austin with an apology, and if austin then wants to give them back to me i'll refund his money also. I will then get the spats to fit perfectly and resell them.
  9. What you need to do is find out exactly where these cars are, and ask on this site if there's a member living close by (with a good bit of knowledge of the z), who would be willing to view the car with you. Failing that, ask somebody you know that knows a bit about cars. With such a low mileage car as that nismo, you really need to make sure the mileage is genuine and have a good look at the service book, it should have at least 5 service stamps, as its more than 5 years old. A yearly service is the minimum requirement!! Check for wear on the seats, gear lever and pedals. If excessive something isn't right. The steering wheel usually holds up well to any wear. Most importantly check the bodywork for any imperfections and signs of repairs from crash damage. With less than 12000 miles on that zed it should be near to showroom condition, but bear in mind that it is over 5 yrs old and will have the odd mark here and there. If i had the money i'd snap his fingers off for that car
  10. As posted else where mine was £350!! I'm 43 9yrs no claims but had 1 fault claim, 1 non fault and 1 vandalism claim in 5 yrs! That doesn't include the big claim from the other week!! 3 points for speeding My original insurance company wanted £800, which i decided was taking the pi**, so went on to the compare the market site and the price ranged from £480 to £2000 plus, with some companies not willing to insure me for various reasons. Swiftcover.com came in the lowest and i got the price down to £350 by having the basic comprehensive cover and going for a £750 excess. On hindsight it wasn't the best thing to do considering the accident that followed, but i had the best service possible from the insurers, and will renew with them next year if they can come up with a competitive quote
  11. I'm 43 with 9 yrs no claims was protected but i have made more than 3 claims in the past 5 yrs so thats gone My 9 yrs will probably drop next year too
  12. All you need is a large padded envelope, 2 large pieces of cardboard to sandwich the struts, tape it together and pop it in the envelope. Job done
  13. Where you based and do you need some parts to take moulds off, or is it all in hand
  14. No what he's asking is, the pipe running into the air filter isn't shown in your first pic of all the parts. Is that a seperate item that needs to be purchased or does it come supplied?
  15. I think you will have to sell your spacers as the wheels will stick out too far. How much do you want for them
  16. Ok great, i'll let you know as soon as its available
  17. Ok Stew it'll be a couple of weeks before it's done, if you do decide to go for it, do you want it standard, polished or powdercoated? If powdercoated what colour would you prefer?
  18. PM R35LEE he should have one
  19. No, its just a standard one but it may be powder coated or polished first
  20. Well his GT4 wheels sold for a bargain £500
