  1. I was discussing with Andrew to buy the lot, but he may have been in discussions with someone else. Also before that i ordered a few bits off him but held off on payment until he came up with a list of remaining stock. He said he would get back to me after his break, but after many pm's there's been no word from him. Just hoping everything is fine in the family.
  2. Cheers Mart, waiting to paypal him some money, but i don't want to do it until i get to talk to him.
  3. Trying to get hold of Andrew myself, anybody heard from him recently?
  4. Just a thought with the intake pipe rtbiscuit, could you not get one made up by someone like longlife exhaust's? Surely if you take the standard intake pipe to them, they could reproduce it for you. If its going to be powder coated, then the finish doesn't have to be that good. Good idea or bad?
  5. There's a name i haven't seen on the forum before, any contact details or can i just pm him?
  6. Defo got a bargain there. Still kicking myself, i missed out there If you do find a car with bits on that you already have, then please let me know 1st if you want to sell anything. I don't want to miss out again. Cheers
  7. Better update this thread Grant nice wheels by the way.
  8. So the stig has been revealed, all i can say to that is no s t sherlock
  9. I think anybody with an ounce of brains, controlling a clapped out plane, in that situation, would be looking to ditch it in the water.
  10. Would of thought they were polished alloy
  11. +1 Nissan will use any excuse not to honour your warranty. Grin and bear it until the warranty expires then take it too someone you trust
  12. The link doesn't work:rant:
  13. Thats a good point, i would certainly be put off if a car i was looking at had an engine replaced. They never seem to drive as well. Although, if Nissan put a really good engine back in with a lot of care and attention, then it shouldn't really be a problem. Also, full documentation from nissan, explaining the reasons behind the swap, and the current mileage of the new engine, with proof, may even help the resale of a higher mileage car.
  14. Look on http://www.z-store.co.uk/ Kev has them but they aint cheap. The other alternative is to sell your popcharger and get a Typoon or similar that comes with the intake pipe. I noticed he does carbon intakes as well.
  15. Loving it!! need to get mine sorted now. Where did you get the wheel nuts from?, really liking them tooB)
  16. Thanks Mark, found number
  17. Thanks Mark, i'll give Kev a ring in the morning. Erm anyone got his number?
  18. Nice one, what colour interior is in it?
  19. what year is the car mate?
  20. Thats fair enough. I did want to powder coat the plenum in sunset orange, but couldn't find anyone who could match the colour or take on the throttle body and powder coat that too. So aluminium silver spray paint may be the way to go, at the mo
  21. Why did you get ESR to do it Ian? Did you mess the painting up or something?
  22. In an ideal world we'd all like to buy well maintained cars from enthusiastic owners, but sometimes we have to finance all or part of the purchase of the car. At least we get a warranty with a dealer, thats the only good side though. By the way, welcome to the club, and the car looks nice too
  23. Hi, looking for peoples views and experience on painting the plenum. I intend to take it off tomorrow so i can fit the spacer as well. I don't want to put the plenum back on until its looking like new. Polishing it means i'll have to spend time on it keeping it shiny, so thats out of the question. Powder coating is a good alternative but may not be able to do the throttle body. So painting it with a high temperature paint may be the best and cheapest solution.I've seen aluminium coloured paint in halfords so may go for that, unless, somebody comes up with a better idea.
  24. 8,500 grand is a crap price for your car but the market is so poor thats about the best you are gonna get for it. Make sure you put it back to standard if you can. I was offered 10,000 grand for my 2004 GT on a part ex! I paid 14,000 grand for it, back in may!!! Needless to say i'll keep it and enjoy it.
  25. Looking at your sig Jay, i'd say the bumper is now on your car. If so, how much did it cost to have done. I've got a nismo bumper ready to be sprayed and fitted, just need a few quotes from reliable body shops.
