  1. Welcome, you've chosen the right place for all your Zed related needs
  2. I see that the last diagram showing the surrounds states that it fits from 06 onwards. Surely there is a surround available for early models that doesn't need cutting for double din headunits?
  3. Hi there all, got back from the ring last night!! Had a brilliant weekend with a bunch of lads i go with every year from the http://newportedition.myfreeforum.org/forum18.php (read the link for pics and write up.) They are a local VW club with some very nice and some quite rapid cars. Stayed at the Blaue Ecke in Adenau which was a new "venue" for us this year. Great place, friendly atmosphere, couldn't fault it! Unfortunately couldn't take the zed, so hitched a lift with a mate (Ewan), in his 200bhp supercharged G60 Corrado. Highlights include the food! steak on a stone was awsome and pizza at pinnochios WOW!! Of course the cars at the ring are just incredible everything from Astons to GT-R's etc. Also popped along to the F1 track and watched a load of 350z's and GT-R's doing the race academy thingy around the track. One spirited driver in a ZED was drifting around every corner, just brilliant. Will be going again next year without fail in my 350z, thats for sure. Maybe a few of us zed owners can get together and arrange a trip for next year, just a thought?!!
  4. Can you give us some details on the enclosure you can get from the states? I know the standard bose sub is a free air 10"sub ,and there are a few aftermarket subs available that will fit, but will it be compatible with the bose amp? Cheers.

  6. I'm thinking of changing my headunit for a dvd monitor as well, let us know how you get on with the install. Plenty of pics as well Welcome to the site
  7. Looks like a decent upgrade, let us know how you get on, with photos
  8. I've been offline for a while, so forgive me if this is a repost. This is unbelievable....http://my350z.com/forum/lounge-off-topi ... uined.html
  9. When i bought my car the oil pressure was really low, it didn't go over a quarter. Once i changed the oil, the pressure went back to normal which was a great relief. This shows that the performance of oil degrades over time and use.
  10. Haven't got one myself, but its probably cheap due to a newer version coming out or its a budget model anyway. Most headunits these days have good connectivity with other devices, usb, memory cards, ipod, bluetooth and some can even record cd's onto the built in hard drives!
  11. I get my oil and filter changed regularly by kwik fit. I was charged £39.99 for Mobil 1 5w 30 fully synthetic!! See, they do have their uses sometimes. Why get your hands dirty, dispose of it properly, and pay more for the oil and filter from halfords etc. You know it makes sense
  12. Well you wont miss me then, i'll be the only zed there.
  13. I'll be going. Compared to other shows i've been to this year this is on my doorstep! only an hrs drive. Been every year and enjoyed every one.
  14. How much Phil? I'm seriously considering having mine painted/powder coated in sunset orange or maybe in a metalic silver, and what about the throttle body, can that be done too?
  15. It seems that quite a few dealers tell the customers that their pads need changing, when they still have plenty of meat left on them. My dealer, after the service recommended i book it in for a complete pad change, when in actual fact i still had at least 50% left on them, not 20% as they suggested. Obviously its a little money spinner for them, charging megabucks for half an hrs work. Advice is to always get a second opinion if you're not mechanically minded. A lot of garages, ie, kwik fit etc offer free checks. So bear that in mind at the next service
  16. Thanks Phil, EBC i wouldn,t use again! So the DBA 4000's sound about right so far. Does that price include postage and how would you like the payment to be made? Cheers.
  17. Having just bought a set ferodo ds2500 pads, i've decided not to put them on the front yet, until i get new discs, as the old ones seem to be quite worn. Could anyone recommend a decent set that will work well with the ferodo's. Traders welcome to throw some prices my way, as i'd like to order these by the weekend. Cheers all.
  18. There shouldn't be a problem getting this done under warranty. I had very similar issues with my type r. Bought it brand new and 18 months and 20,000miles later, the gearbox was grinding when selecting 3rd gear. I had no problem with the dealer whatsoever, they took the car off my hands, supplied me with a courtesy car, and 3 days later car was returned as good as new. All free of charge Now, i know Nissan aint Honda, but all maufacture warranties are the same across the board, so they have no choice but to fix it under warranty
  19. This is a bad situation to be in Carl, but it should get sorted out. Did you buy the car from a reputable garage? if so, it would be in their own interest to offer you a full refund. Just mention the words "WATCHDOG", "X-RAY" and "THE FERRET" if they give you a bit of grief. Publicity will be their worst enemy if they want to stay in business. I just hope this doesn't put you off getting another zed. Good luck mate.
  20. I bought mine from motorhouse in bridgend, an impulse buy i can tell you. Haven't regretted it yet though They seem to have a regular supply of zeds filtering through, so maybe worth a try.
  21. Now you've posted this up i'm sure nemesis will exchange it for you. If they don't they'll be shooting themselves in the foot. I'll be giving them a wide berth thats for sure.
  22. Yes they do use the same tyre sizes front and rear, offset's are probably the same as well.
