  1. Southpaw, One of our partners - 350z-tech.com (in the US) has a guide on brake pad installation here: http://www.350z-tech.com/zwiki/Tutorial ... stallation (Thanks to Josh for allowng us to link to the site). I hope this helps. Regards, Chris.
  2. Only pulling your leg Steve. I understand people are not alloed to post a link to our site on the OC. I hope the new owner finds an insurance company that meets his needs.
  3. Would be nice if vikram285111 could find his way here to ask too....
  4. Steve, on the golf forum I am a member of, there is a chap called neil from Greenlight insurance, they are very Mod friendly, may be import friendly too.
  5. Looks well waxed too...
  6. This may need looking into, as this has been mentioned before - The delay in script processing for a long distance host may result in the script being passed over and over until it crashed the box. However one of the admins is in Europe at present, which if this were the case, should result in something similar - as would dial up connections. I'll look into this, but it may just be an unlucky coincidence?
  7. Ahh ok. I thought it was worth checking. I suppose there is one way to tell for certain, but I doubt the neighbours would like it...
  8. Oh it is useful, thanks for taking the time to post - unfortunately its the same error time and time again, hopefuly it will be banished some time soon.
  9. Sorry, I probably didn't make myself clear - I'm referring to the indicator flashes, not the LED.
  10. Yep - unfortunatley this still persists. We have spoken to the hosts about it, and it appeared as of yesterday that things were sorted, as I was monitoring the connections yesterday and found that it did not fall over at the level which it had before. This appears to have resurfaced again, which will involve another nice chat to our hosts. At least its fast, but these errors are unacceptable. One method is running the place on a dedicated server, which would mean all you lucky folk having an increased attachment and gallery allowance - but would mean that the unluck folk on the admin and moderators team may have to go without jam for a few weeks. We continue to discuss this amongst the mods/admins and we hope to hav these resolved soon.
  11. On the missus' old car (mx-5 with clifford alarm) when you lock the car (and arm the alarm), it flashed twice. When you unlocked the car, it flashed once. If you came back to the car after the alarm had been set off, when you unlocked the car, it flashed three times to tell you that the alarm had been set off while you were away. My question is, does the Z do anything like this? Aparently she has searched the manual, but can't find any info.. Thanks, Chris.
  12. Having a rear wiper nicked is not a problem for me...
  13. I also think thos long nose bodykits make it look like a fish. The kind of "ooooo" face that goldfish pull when they feed... Wouldn't want to pull onto or out of any steep drives or ramps with one of those on - ouch!
  14. Ahh well, chips away every 12 months or so it is....
  15. Welcome to the forum, be sure to get some pictures up once you get your car!
  16. Thats true, but Im starting to wish wehad GM or Blade so the stone chips didnt show up quite as badly.
  17. Nah, Im alright on a plane, just get a bit iffy if I look out of the window during take off or landing LOL
  18. I think its an over tired cabby. In the US, some cabbys have rolling internal cctv for security I beleive. Should serve as a lesson though.
  19. Not really no, I'm scared of heights, so its either move to a bungalow, or only decorate the lower half. I just thought I'd read up on it one day while bored in the office..
  20. Be sure to get pictures of your car posted up in the gallery!
  21. Its actually not edited to the music afterward, it is for real... The guy used a product which can organise your lights to music, and then broadcast your music over a low strength FM signal to allow people to watch your display from their cars, without upsetting the neghbours with loud music. He has also done another display to slightly different music.. All you need to know here - including instructions for setting up your own if you want... http://www.snopes.com/photos/arts/xmaslights.asp Those crazy Americans eh?
  22. Its not that it makes it look childish, just that sometimes its uncalled for. I just didnt think we would want the place turning into a replica of some of the "chav" fourms out there with F's and C's all over the place. I could pose the question of why should the replacing of **** with **** cause anyone any upset? We all know what it means, do we have to see the word? The word **** is not in the prohibited words list, as obvioulsy it is a label, and probably will be used from time to time. OK maybe I was a bit heavy handed on this occasion. Sorry.
  23. Yes the bum is a bit big on the rag top, but I can hear that exhaust note all day long in the summer.....
