  2. There are 30+ 350z for sale on autotrader right now. Not sure why you'd choose to go to the trouble and cost of converting a convertable to a coupe, just buy a coupe. But sure it could be done, anything can be done with enough patience, time and money.
  3. Today
  4. hi there, 350z is one of my dream cars; and im actively looking for a 350z gt4 but they seem to be quite rare under 12,000 pound this seems unlikely to attain and my secodnary options is to purchase a 350z soft top and convert it to a hard top, so i was wondering of anyone has purchased a soft top nissan 350z and converted it to a hard top, and if so how did it go?. i work with a fabricator who claims that he could fabricate a hard top for my future 350z that is also detatchable as this would be desirable. I cant seem to find any aftermarket systems that offer a hard top conversion. many thanks, max
  5. That's good to know, waiting for Mark from Abbey now, to get back to me. ๐Ÿ‘
  6. Adding an SC wonโ€™t make any difference to that, any drone or booming will be 99% down to the exhaust you use.
  7. Cheers for that mate, i know you use it for track but how would you say it would be for road use? Is it mental loud? Would there be lots of drone on motorway etc?

  9. I'm running just under 380bhp on mine with a Vortech charger, so low boost using the standard pulley size. Use it for trackdays so gets a fair bit of abuse. I used the kit from Torqen, so has fuelling/plugs/oil cooler etc sorted, and with a Koyo rad to help the cooling. Standard Brembos with a good disc/pad/fluid combo works fine for me. Hardly uses any oil, and still on the standard clutch for now. Engine on about 105,000 miles, was tuned at Horsham a few years back and is super reliable. (Hope I haven't jinxed it now and I blow it up!) ๐Ÿ˜‚
  10. Lovely car mate
  11. Thank you very much everyone. Nice to meet you all. I am pleased to say that the car is all sorted now. I think it was a damaged hydraulic clutch line but it has been replaced and now drives great! I'm looking forward to some nice weather now to boot around in it.
  12. Cheers for the feedback mate. Appreciate it. ๐Ÿ‘
  13. Best to also speak to Mark or Chris to get their views on the essential upgrades.
  14. Spoken to Mark at abbey and Chris at tarmacsportz so far. I'm based in Manchester though.
  15. Perhaps a fuel return system, fuel regulator, and a set of plugs. Remember the intercooler and associated parts. Stock radiator, stock fans, and stock fan housing will all work, so no need for unnecessary expense there. Good luck with your build. Who are you entrusting with the tune/remap?
  16. Okay Alex, so the supercharger, fuel injectors, fuel pump, oil cooler. Should do the job?
  17. That is not big power, so as long as you get the fueling and ignition correct as per your list and you use an informed tuner, then all will be good. I would not stress over the clutch at the minute, depending on the current condition of course Supercharging offers you a more linear immediate power delivery.
  18. Hi Alex, what engine mods would you advise for 350whp then? Think that's just over 400bhp. In terms of non engine mods, ive got dba T3 discs, performance friction pads and goodridge braided lines fitted, would that suffice for brakes? Suspension is bilstein b6 shocks/tein s springs. Guessing I'd need to upgrade the clutch at least as well. Would the xtreme kit do the job? Sorry for all the questions.
  19. You will not cause any damage at 350 bhp providing you fit the proper mods and get a good tune. Forged internals will definitely not be required Remember that it is torque that destroys engines and not bhp
  20. Was debating getting rid of the zed, but now I'm thinking of doubling down. Mines a 350z gt4, with invidia gemini exhaust, cobra hfc's, mrev2 plenum, 5/16 motordyne spacer, with ecutek remap done. Would like the car faster for road use only, but want to be conservative with stress on the engine, would be gutted if it blew. To run 350whp would hks supercharger, fuel injectors, fuel pump, oil cooler, colder sparkplugs be enough to ensure no damage to the engine? Or would i have to look at other things to eg. Rods, pistons, radiator etc? Any feedback would be much appreciated before I make expensive mistakes.
  21. Hi mate, welcome! Lovely motor.
  22. Last week
  23. Simple little update next, A faux suede gear gator installed. I like the contrast between tbe black and the silver.
  24. Hi and welcome along buddy. Nice looking car.
  25. Welcome, there is a wealth of information here to help you
  26. Hi And welcome ๐Ÿ˜
  27. So basically Japfest have an individual area where people can display their cars who are not part of a club. What I purchased is 1x entry to the individual area for the car and 1x passenger. The individual area was a touch more expensive. From my understanding Japfest is only selling general admission tickets now What you'd need to check is if the details on mine (i.e reg, colour etc) could be transfered to another vehicle. Shame really as they point blank refused to refund me so now there's a perfectly good ticket someone will miss out on
  28. Appreciate it mate thanks. Which tickets are these then as had a quick look and they are ยฃ32 for standard and a few left. Be nice to go club stand though if this what you got? Is this for a single standard ticket mate or a show/club one?
  29. Thanks mate got it sorted. As a heads up to anyone else I managed to score next day delivery on this. https://amzn.eu/d/8wkTGMy ยฃ12 quid and although not exact match it bolted up fine. Had a bit of an issue in the the banjo bolt feed in bottomed out on the intake but whacked three copper washers on the cylinder side of the bolt and faffed about a vomit getting the feed to mine up and it works a treat. Not bad for a Saturday delivery, hour n a bit of faffing and a bottle of brake fluid, three extra copper washers and a total 18squid spend. Lol.
