Juggalo Posted June 16, 2015 Author Posted June 16, 2015 Update: Picked car up an hour ago and the new gearbox is sweeeeet. No whining or notchiness (is that even a word?) in any gear. The Gearbox guy showed me the internals of the old one and once shown what to look for it was pretty dire. Hats off to the dealer, he paid for the lot with no arguments. Nothing was too much trouble even though it raped his wallet. So if you're looking for a car, I'd recommend giving John a call, a real stand up guy (Link on previous page) 1 Quote

Ebized Posted June 16, 2015 Posted June 16, 2015 Used car trade does not often get much praise, so good to hear your dealer has gone the extra mile to make sure you are happy with your purchase - so credit to him and hope you can now now fully enjoy your new ride 1 Quote

Juggalo Posted June 16, 2015 Author Posted June 16, 2015 Thanks guys. I can safely say I'm very happy with it now it's all fixed and running as it should. I've got a paranoid ear for the box, and I can't hear anything untoward. :teeth: Quote
