Kingshott Posted May 23, 2015 Posted May 23, 2015 Hi I'm talking myself more and more into buying a 350z. I'm interested in a low mileage around 30k ish, gun metal GT pack. I'd rather purchase one through a forum as from previous experience they are always more looked after. Thanks for looking Ryan Quote
Kingshott Posted May 24, 2015 Author Posted May 24, 2015 Yes dude.. There's loads on ebay, but I think I'll wait till something appears on here, because 90% of the time there looked after the way I want one. Quote
Kingshott Posted May 24, 2015 Author Posted May 24, 2015 Oh and I forgot to mention completely standard too if possible ☺ Quote
zzzzz Posted May 24, 2015 Posted May 24, 2015 Ok, I'm toying with the idea of selling my roadster Quote
Kingshott Posted May 24, 2015 Author Posted May 24, 2015 what are your opinions on this?.. seems a bit too cheap too me http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/2006-NISSAN-350-Z-SILVER-/261878747457?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_3&hash=item3cf9309141 Quote
zeddy addict Posted May 24, 2015 Posted May 24, 2015 (edited) I emailed him asking about service history as it doesn't mention that, never got back to me. Could be that he is just a newbie to ebay as no feedback. No phone number to call either so can only contact by email and he doesn't reply. I am quite close to Southsea so was tempted to have a look, does seem very cheap, think I will give it a miss though. Edited May 24, 2015 by zeddy addict Quote
Kingshott Posted May 24, 2015 Author Posted May 24, 2015 yeah i noticed hes new... which always puts me off. I just sent him a message, the other thing its a really random price £5180 why not 5200. You looking at buying too zeddy? or just interested to have a look. Quote
Will370z Posted May 24, 2015 Posted May 24, 2015 Looks in good condition inside and out but I wouldn't buy without seeing it and taking it for a test drive. Does seem rather cheap Quote

Not sure if you got what veilside z meant but there are Zeds for sale on this forum (maybe you've not noticed ). Link: http://www.350z-uk.com/forum/51-zeds-for-sale/ Personally I think your "low mileage" want might be a little too low, ...a well looked after Zed with 50-60K would be my preference over a Zed that's spent most of it's time not being driven & possibly only serviced periodically. FSH is a must imo whatever the mileage though. Quote
Kingshott Posted May 24, 2015 Author Posted May 24, 2015 Yeah I've Been through the for sale section, well ideally a weekend run about with 30k ish is what I'm after, but 50k would be the max as I'd rather buy one to keep for many years as a evening/weekend driver. Quote

Fair enough. Good look with the hunt and if I spot anything I'll post it here. Quote

I'd also seen this, you can actually search google using images to see if there are any matches. I used the first image on the advert and it came back with 5 exact matches linking to past ebay adverts, so i'm fairly certain it's a scam. Edited May 24, 2015 by PAWL3Y Quote

Does seem very cheap and no replies to messages or phone number to call? Maybe I will message again asking when I can view as I am only 10 miles away? There have been a few scams going on recently for Focus Rs cars, people are so keen to get ine they out a deposit down without seeing the car, turns out to be someone else's old legitimate advert and pictures normally lifted from Pistonheads and similar sites. Might well be genuine but you have to be so careful with everything these days unless you can see it in the flesh and do all the correct checks Quote
zeddy addict Posted May 24, 2015 Posted May 24, 2015 Also noticed that the mileage is 2000 less miles than advertised miles in those pictures, looks like an old PH ad to me, could be using old pics I suppose Quote
zeddy addict Posted May 24, 2015 Posted May 24, 2015 Previously sold by evo motors on 3rd March this year, advertised at £8990 with 50k. Evo motors specialise in these cars and seems a fair price for the miles and one previous owner as was then. Isn't Google great, the things you can look up. At £5180 just over 2 months later and 1000 miles more, it is either a massive bargain or too good to be true. I have sent an email asking if I can view, no reply as yet. Quote
Kingshott Posted July 26, 2015 Author Posted July 26, 2015 Still looking to anyone thinking of selling Quote
