19" rear, 18" front.

i've had a search around but cant find anyone thats looked into it before.

 

does anyone run, or does anyone have any pictures, of anyone running a larger dia rear wheel set?

 

now I dont mean to increase the rotating diameter (i.e to mess around with the traction cntrl).

 

So, the front wheel can stay as its 225/45/18,

but the rear could be a choice of 2 larger sizes and still be within 0.5% rotating size with the right tyre. (sizes are an EXAMPLE only)

 

245/40/18

245/35/19

245/30/20

 

im just looking at this from a costmetic view, i cant seem to find any decent picutres on any car that runs this, except for thick rear drag cars.

although the Corvette due an inch bigger rear. that looks nice

 

I just want to know how it would look.

The USA had a version that ran 19" rears and 18" front Nismo wheels, a member bought a set a while ago (cant remember his name though)

 

Cosmetically i would just run 19's

 

The only reason, in my opinion, for running 18" front is for less rotational mass, nothing to do with cosmetics

Looks good but unless you want those particular wheels I think 19" all round would look better.

not really a noticable different between the 2 is it. probably more defined with the eye.

Thats a 18 front and 19 rear, its actually difficult to notice due to the design of the wheels (they are different from each other)

 

Good setup but pricey on the rears if you like going sideways ......
