Never understood winter storage, buy the car, use the car, drive the car - all those people who put it into storage last year and it never snowed, probably didn't get any colder than 5 degrees down south.

If it was a classic car or a limbo or Ferrari I might understand.

 

But its a modern jap car that's built not to rust. And doesn't cost much.

I'm used to classics maybe that's why my last car was a BMW 840, in the long term pays off I'd never buy a car that hadn't been garaged enough

Soggy wet and a bit cold up norf! Still no reason to tuck a modern generally rust proof car away for 'winter' - maybe you should have bought a tractor!
