GNRakn Posted October 30, 2014 Posted October 30, 2014 Be careful reading your policy terms and conditions guys!! I was far, far too eager to jump into my first Zed. I've just received a telemetry box, I can refuse to fit it but because I accidentally agreed to it I'll have to fork out an extra £350 to pay off the discount! I'm not a dangerous driver, if I were I wouldn't be able to afford a Zed, but this really grips me that I'm going to be losing the fun factor for the next 3 months!! Be warned read the terms and conditions very carefully!!! Quote
Will370z Posted October 30, 2014 Posted October 30, 2014 I would have thought reading and understanding the terms and conditions of the contract would be compulsory regardless of the insurance company. You can hardly fault them 1 Quote
Grundy Posted October 30, 2014 Posted October 30, 2014 Sorry don't mean to laugh, but that's just unlucky. Hopefully lesson learned for reading what you sign Quote
WINKJ Posted October 30, 2014 Posted October 30, 2014 And the first most for most people is a stubby.... You've been done! Pay the extra 350 and forget the box Quote
GNRakn Posted October 30, 2014 Author Posted October 30, 2014 I know it's genuinely comical, it so out of character for me to rush into it! It took me 6 months to find an un tampered zed that I wanted, just to be arse raped into fitting a box!! Quote
ChrisS Posted October 30, 2014 Posted October 30, 2014 From what Liam (my son) has said, there are a lot of companies who are not quite so up front about it and you find this 'little' detail in the background. One was only £50 cheaper with a similar 'punishment' if you change your mind. He was actually glad that dad had nagged and nagged him into..... read it,read it then read it again. (and if stuck, ask your mum) So OP I for one have sympathy. 1 Quote
veilside z Posted November 1, 2014 Posted November 1, 2014 My lads 21 and just insured with Bell for £760 fully comp with 3 yrs non claims bonus. It clearly stated the fitting of the box for 3 months, and was pleased to have this in place, as jumping from a 1.4 golf to a 3.5 v6 might stead him in the right direction for the future months to come. KyleR Posted November 2, 2014 Posted November 2, 2014 Wait, so you can fit them yourself? Just remove it before going on a hoon Quote
PPod Posted November 21, 2014 Posted November 21, 2014 Haha so "mate what was your first mod". "was fitting a carbon fiber box from my insurance came free so cant complain". Lol Quote
GNRakn Posted February 11, 2015 Author Posted February 11, 2015 Once the box is out im looking for a suitable supercharger, does that earn me my man points back? 1 Quote
