350zedd Posted October 25, 2014 Posted October 25, 2014 Sad to hear this...loved his bass line on the classic Cream tracks. Quote
JetSet Posted October 25, 2014 Posted October 25, 2014 (edited) How sad. Spent a fair few bob in our local cafe playing White Room on the jukebox over and over again...B side was pretty good too! Pete Edited October 25, 2014 by JetSet Quote
Ken Posted October 25, 2014 Posted October 25, 2014 As Martin said. a great musician and a true legend. i was planning to go and see him on his next uk tour. A short track form his 1969 solo album ''Songs for a Tailor'' The Clearout. listen to this on a good sound system. Quote
JetSet Posted October 27, 2014 Posted October 27, 2014 A couple of other lesser known lead singers have also died in 2014. Most people won't have heard of them but will have possibly heard of the bands they fronted. First off is Fergie Fredrikson who was the lead singer for the band Toto from 1984 onwards. Here he is at work for his previous band Le Roux. Secondly there was Jimi Jamison who was the lead singer for the American band Survivor. Quote
