Sharpen Posted August 21, 2014 Posted August 21, 2014 Oh dear this looks nasty, bit like the alloys have started to show (is the tailgate alloy too). I've never had the paint perforation checks done etc but I'm sure it shouldn't be doing this, it's a 2009 model but even so? So what do you recon, trip to the dealers or straight on to nissan customer services? Quote
Payco Posted August 21, 2014 Posted August 21, 2014 Doubt Nissan will want to know. Looks like a perfect opportunity for a rear wiper delete to me... Quote
Sharpen Posted August 21, 2014 Author Posted August 21, 2014 Yes if it comes to it I'll consider the delete option, I'm going to push them hard though, especially considering they've honoured warranty work on at least one person on here's 350 bonnet Quote
Payco Posted August 21, 2014 Posted August 21, 2014 Good luck, great cars but crap back up in my experience. Hope you are succesful... Quote
370Ad Posted August 21, 2014 Posted August 21, 2014 (edited) If its all OEM under there and the car hasn't been repainted, I can't see Nissan having a leg to stand on! Edited August 21, 2014 by 370Ad Quote
KyleR Posted August 23, 2014 Posted August 23, 2014 They'll probably call it stone clip damage as always Quote
WhackyWill Posted August 23, 2014 Posted August 23, 2014 A few have managed to get the paint done under warranty, depends on the dealer. I would go straight to Nissan Customer Service and register you dissatisfaction. Quote
ZZZ_2306 Posted August 26, 2014 Posted August 26, 2014 How long is the paint under warranty for? Quote
