UK 54 PLATE GT NISMO 26K

A car like that will fly out of the door all day every day. They must be doing something right to make a good living from selling 350z's as a specialist, they would inspire confidence for me to buy one from them, trouble is I am trying to sell one!

Lovely car that, someone will be very happy with it,

It's really not. More gremlins still hiding, more stuff drying out etc.

Average miles in great condition is the way to go, with modern cars. Designed to be used regularly.

Absolute rubbish. Low miles is worth more. It's a fact not an opinion.

I didn't say they weren't worth more, did I? Try reading it next time rather than just filling in the blanks in your head.

I said they're not worth the extra.

They are worth the extra.

That's why a dealer will pay more for a low mileage car, because it's worth more and easier to sell.

I would agree with you if it was a newer car with motorway miles, but not with daily drivers that are a decade old.

I doubt anything needs to "dry out" after 10 years, and any "gremlins" must be good at "hiding".

IMHO a 10 year old 350z used regular with high miles is going to need a lot more spending on it than a mint, low mileage equivalent.

Look how long some cars sit in the classifieds despite members saying "this is a bargain" etc etc. This car sold to a dealer with no pics quickly.

From the description it sounds like the best 350 I've seen in the classifieds.

A 350z at 40K plus is more likely had its P3, clutch change, bushes and at least one compression rod all of which equates to £2-3K. Low miles is good for selling but for the buyer it can be costly which is what Ekona was pointing out

Fine, IMHO they're not worth the extra. Happy now?

Some people are mugs and buy cars just because they've got low miles on them. Good luck to them, it's their money. Personally I'm a bit more savvy and realise that modern cars do not suffer with mileage like older ones used to, but each to their own.

I appreciate that mate.

I just think it's Z's like this one that will be worth good money in the future.

Average miles for a 10 year old car is 120,000. I wouldn't touch a z with that.

I think if were all honest we'd rather have 26,000 miles on our clocks.

Mine had its P3 on 27,592.

I appreciate the point re the clutch but look what happened to Bradders.

Replace "some" with "most" and I wouldn't call them mugs.

Many modern cars suffer with mileage more than older cars. Ask anyone with a common rail diesel or as you know a 997.1, cayman or boxster.

Modern engines are more complex and have more potential to go wrong compared to older ones.

Mine is on 61k with the original clutch.
