Stutopia Posted June 20, 2014 Share Posted June 20, 2014 Opened the boot today and the struts let out a sort of weird moan. They're SGS and only 6-12 months old. It was crazy warm in the car, so this may have been a factor, but if I was to spray some lube onto the shiny bit of the boot struts - what's safe to go on there? I know on the face of it this seems a stupid question but the only reason I ask is I don't want to apply something that eats the seals on the struts. Plain old WD40?
