It was indeed an awesome car but have to say, I am liking the Z a little more at the mo! Certainly easier on the ears and the back on the longer motor way drives.... I will no doubt ruin that over the next few months tho As for the old GTIR... Some old pics for ya: Wont go into the full spec cause it was VERY long but when it worked it was just ridiculous!!!! Standing quarter in the high 11s altho that did mean the gear box became a serviceable part on a regular basis!! Would have another one tomorrow if there were any good ones still out there as it was by far the most fun ive had owning a car..
