Yep also work away - but should (i say should!!!) be home mid July for a few months.

Watching topic as still undecided whether to keep car or not. If I do keep it then it will be getting remapped.

Looks like I'm going to have to back out if this goes ahead soon. Just bought another house on Friday & have to get my own on the market. If this has not been done after things settle down then I'll be game still.

Looks like everything is up in the air at the moment;

 

I am am coming up North to tune only 4 cars , so the cost will rise by £35-00 each making £585-00 inc vat

 

I need deposits (50%) from 4 people before I will look into booking a dyno and flight and accomodation.

 

will be August now I am afraid.

I'm still in but would like it to progress to a little more certainty before placing a deposit - I also need to confirm the dates once we're firmed up, though my availability is OK from mid to late Aug.

 

Is this planned for a weekday or could it be done on a weekend as that would make it easier too?

Can I ask what exactly and uprev would do to an HR? (is this just for pre HR engines?) ...I know...but I don't pay attention half the time haha

We remap the throttle maps to make the car more reponsive ,tweaks the fuel and ignition maps and work on the cams maps to remove the glitch the HR seems to have at small throttle openings;

 

Also the ECU is mapped for the car mods.

Ah! Do you mean that 'jerky' movement it does under small throttle? Yeah that's annoying lol Does it do anything at all to the power? (even If small)

Yes we remove the jerky issue that is seen on the HR engine.

how much,and what increase in bhp would I get on a 2005 roadster with milltek exhaust/k/n filter and d1 throttle controller.

cost is as before in this thread; £550-00 inc vat

 

We normally find around 10 to 15bhp from a tune but the improved throttle response is the main gain with these remaps.
