nissanman312 Posted May 18, 2014 Posted May 18, 2014 Right is it true you can run the 350z spare on the 70 and do you need spacers? Quote
Ebized Posted May 18, 2014 Posted May 18, 2014 Yes, but you need spacers on the front to clear the calipers. Quote
Ebized Posted May 18, 2014 Posted May 18, 2014 I should add that it is possible to run a rear wheel on the front and put the 350 spare on the rear, in the event you did have a front puncture and your suspension set up was OEM, and in that way a spacer would not be necessary, but no doubt the anti-skid light would be having kittens and I would only do that in a dire emergency what with the hassle of having changing wheels around. Don't really need two pairs..!! Anyway this has dragged this post way of topics..so that's enough.. Quote

Ebized Posted May 19, 2014 Posted May 19, 2014 Getting back on topic for those who have had their eyes tested........ Yeah I'm only thinking of getting stuck in the depths of Scotland What spacer would you need on front 25mm - you can get away with less (20mm certainly fits) it were solely to accommodate the spacesaver But really I would recommend a set of 25mm's all round just to enhance the stance and they make bugger all difference to the handling in normal road use. Daryl Posted May 19, 2014 Posted May 19, 2014 So is Spacsavers like Specsavers, just for special people? 1 Quote
