Best Pressure Washer

The karcher I pinched didn't work so went and bought the nilfisk from maplin. Done the decking with it and it made short work of the green algae that had grown on it over winter.

Will they snow foam lance I bought fit??

You can buy the correct adapter for a Nilfisk to fit if you bought one that fits a Karcher.

You don't happen to have a link for one so I don't end up with the wrong part?

Depends which lance you bought.

Best bet would be to contact the place you bought your Karcher lance from and ask if they can supply a Nilfisk adapter, or maybe they can do a full exchange for you.

How does this one look? It's an adaptor I found on eBay for turning a Karcher K series female fitting to suit a Nilfisk fitting: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Pressure-Washer-Karcher-K-series-Female-to-Nilfisk-Kew-Alto-Conversion-Adaptor-/271430931855?pt=UK_Home_Garden_PowerTools_SM&hash=item3f328b558f

But yours maybe different.

Really not sure how many different fittings there are for the Nilfisk range of pressure jet washers so I'd do as Lexx suggests above and see if the seller can exchange the snow foam gun or supply you with the correct adaptor. Unless you're certain that's the one you need.

You really are best off contacting the seller of that snow foam gun as they should have adaptors to suit. Just tell them which pressure jet washer you have bought.

Alternatively tell them you have bought the wrong one, return it in exchange for the correct one. You will then have to pay postage to them (& maybe back) but it will be cheaper than an adaptor more than likely. ;)

Cheers GM! Lol

Spent hundreds on lotions and potions for the car in the last month. Never even washed any of my cars myself up until I got the zed!

I know how you feel. This isn't my first car by a long shot nor my first "car love" but I've never cleaned a car so often or spent so much on detailing products.

I used to wash all of my previous cars loads when I had them but was doing it all wrong ~ one bucket and a hose!! Not to mention a sponge. :scare:

Stumbled across the "detailing" section on here, met a few knowledgeable forum members and have since spent at least a months wages on various products, snow foam gun, new drying cloth's, polishes, waxes etc etc

Not to mention binned my T-Cut which I'd had for over 5 years.;)

You just need the Nilfisk/Alto option from here and some PTFE tape/Threadlock.

Simply unscrew the old one and screw on the new one. Here's a very handy link for servicing your lance (clicky) - even though it says it's the AB lance, all the lances are essentially (or exactly) the same.

Karcher and Niflisk are pretty well thought of.

Maplins have just run a deal for 69.99 on a good Niflisk model which is normally about 120 quid

bought the Nilfisk C110.4 xtra from Maplin looks great though cant test as the inline filter is missing. they should replace when i go back there this evening. it came with the patio cleaner for £59.99

turned out the filter was already fitted. doh! though in my defence the item looked nothing like the one in the diagram in the manual.
