big_joe Posted April 13, 2014 Posted April 13, 2014 Evening all. Just got back from a day out driving in the zed around the North Yorkshire moors, thought I'd share a couple of pics. My friend was in his DC2 Type R, I've owned a couple of these over the years so know how capable they are (very!)....pleased to say the zed seemed the superior of the two today. I've only owned it a few weeks, really gelling with it now! 1 Quote
GMballistic Posted April 13, 2014 Posted April 13, 2014 Both look great big_joe. Especially like the last pic as I think it's the best angle for a picture of the Zed. Really shows of the nice lines of the roof & rear end imo. Quote
gareth29 Posted April 13, 2014 Posted April 13, 2014 Nice restaurant too, though a bit pricey the last time we looked. 1 Quote
Lyndzzz Posted April 13, 2014 Posted April 13, 2014 Looks like a great day, agree with GMB the last pic is very Quote
big_joe Posted April 13, 2014 Author Posted April 13, 2014 Nice restaurant too, though a bit pricey the last time we looked. We didn't stop at that hotel/restaurant, far too swanky. Just nicked their car park for a photo shoot Quote
WhackyWill Posted April 13, 2014 Posted April 13, 2014 Great pics, nice day for cruising around the Moor's. Quote
Ridz Posted April 13, 2014 Posted April 13, 2014 That's what Zeds are for. Just to enjoy driving on open roads. Great pics! 1 Quote

Indeed....all this talk you see on forums of the Zed being an overweight cruiser nearly put me off buying one. Glad I didn't listen because I find it a really rewarding and involving drive...even on the crap tyres it came with. Can't wait to get some supersports on and see what it can really do! Quote
Tigerzed Posted April 14, 2014 Posted April 14, 2014 Great driving over the Moors. I'm fancying a blast up to the Dales over the Easter holidays. Maybe Bolton Abbey then to the Red Lion Burnsall Bridge Great photo's and stunning views as you'd expect in Yorkshire Quote
