I like the look of the latest model, all the older ones look a bit dated now - I am not a fan of porkers anyway...

Don't discount the 2.5L, it's much more fun than it looks and quicker too.

 

3.4 is worth paying extra for, in either 986 or 987 guises.

 

PDK is a revelation, and really works well with modern Pork. The 6spd is one of the all-time great shifters, though.

 

The current 981 is the best sports car sensible money can buy, and the 2.7 really is all you need.

I had a 2.5, just could not gel with the car. But it handled so well. 3.2 is quick. But i love my Zed.

It would have to be a 3.2s for me, I've driven one and they are under rated as a drivers car which is overshadowed by its poor image

Don't tend to see too many hairdressers is Boxsters these days... Usually MX5's and MR2's nowadays!

Hate them, but the new look is actually not too bad. I'd rather have a new Cayma.....oh god I can't say it... lol You'd have to go for an 'S' wouldn't you?

My mate got a 3.2S and I can pi55 all over it with the Zed..!!..

 

I would only replace my Zed with a newer one.

If i wanted a sweet commuter, you'd be hard pressed to beat a £6-7K boxster. Ridiculous value if you don't need load space.
