The only reason I havent changed to a stubby yet is that my reception isnt good at times and I dont want to make it worse. I'd rather have one that ran around the window trim or something, out of sight. My bro had one in his old crappy Sierra like that which worked pretty well. Would have no visible aerial then.

It's 0250! Just back from Chicago and can't sleep. Spent the last 3 hrs on this website...it's great. Do you get the same quality reception with the stubby?

 

No , not in my experience :surrender:

And that is why my OEM is staying put. I need the radio!

My reception is great with the stubby :D:D

I found no difference at all from the OEM
