  1. Hi No difference in terms of fuel consumption - Not tested the emmissions so don't know if they are less. I tested the PilotGreen device - which is basically the same device you list in that ebay link. As other people have posted in previous years if these devices worked the car companies would fit them as standard to their fuel lines. So save your money and put it towards some worthwhile, like a good shampoo and car wax FM
  2. Nah! it's ta clip from the new Krypton Factor series - instead of a simulator for the response round the contestants have to land a real plane FM
  3. Nah the 350Z driver just wasn't trying.... I mean why bother... he knows he's faster
  4. Hehe, not more batteries to change So I guess you won't know if these need changing until you remove the main car battery and the backup battery doesn't take over FM
  5. Hi Yes I've read a number of posts where people have had flat batteries - and then needed a recharge. But even when the engine fails to start I expect there will be enough residual charge to keep the basic "background" electronics happy. - at least for a while longer. FM
  6. Hi I might replace the battery this autumn - car will almost be 3 years old. With all the electronics in vehicles today the old battery gets more of a hammering. Anyway, aside from rolling down the windows before disconnecting the old battery is there anything else which needs to be done before the swap-over takes place? The BOSE system isn't coded so that won't be an issue. How about the Tracker system, alarm system etc? Will they all be OK? TIA FM
  7. Get into the spirit of the movie It's HHMmmmmmmm RICE
