Armor All Shield Wax???

Just wondering if anyone had used this....its won Auto Expresses best wax 2013. I usually use the small carnauba stuff that comes with waxy box but need to get a larger quantity.

 

Any advice would be appreciated

I've used it and it seems to work a treat, rain certainly beads off.

Used a free sample on the Impreza bonnet when we had it. Glad it was free. Wouldn't bother again, but then it's better than no protection at all.

For a good winter wax, try Collinite 476s.

Apply very sparsely with a damp applicator.

Tis good stuff.

I tried it out on my runabout and it lasts better than a soft wax alone. It's hard to beat for sheer speed/results ratio.

Collonite lasts well but for shine and price I find dodo supernatural unbeatable

It depends what you want from it? Looks, durability, ease of use, budget, etc.

 

It's an okay wax, but there are better things out there in my opinion. Colli (as already mentioned) or FK1000P will offer more durability, some sealants will offer more still (and then there's coatings!). Dodo Juice or Poorboys will be easier to apply but will need topping up/reapplying more often. Sealants will give better gloss, waxes will give more warmth and depth (as a generalisation).
