Hi,

 

Has anyone fitted an aftermarket exhaust on their zeds (imports) .. I've read somewhere that imports can't have after market exhausts, true or? Cheers for any replies.

Imports can indeed have aftermarket exhausts, where did you read that they couldn't...

Absolute BS. Check out the Cougar Store as above or some of the other traders on here for exhausts. Also worth a look in the build threads for ideas on what you like the look of.

You may have read that the Scorpion won't fit JDM models, it does fit ok though.

 

As the others said aftermarkets exhausts on Imports are a must as they are even quieter than standard uk models.

Thanks for the replies.. Great now I know these can be fitted, which will be on my to buy list.

 

Is the exhaust system (such as the scorpion one for £374) the only thing required or are other parts needed to fit?

That will be a y pipe back system, you could also replace the y pipe if yours is scanky.

The Japspeed won't fit on an import or a uk car unfortunately

It's easier to fit an aftermarket exhaust to a import as most don't have the cooling fins on the diff like UK models.
