Over revs. That's why he lost, along with very poor solicitors.

 

If you over rev the engine above certain limits, Porsche do not fulfil the warranty for obvious reasons. Also, it does not cost £25k to rebuild a Mezger unless you've got serious numpties working on it. Hell, a brand new one is only £40K!

 

I'll go read the Porker forums in a bit, see if I can get the companies involved names, but carrying the work out on your own back after it's been refused warranty because of over revs is madness. I wonder which band of over revs he fell in to...
