ZMANALEX Posted June 13, 2013 Share Posted June 13, 2013 (edited) More than likely it will be the compression rod ball joint or the compression rod bushing. The bushing is easy to check however the ball joint is a bit more trickier. Both in stock and good to go same/next day. Just drop me a PM if I can help further mate. Alex. Worn out Banana Bar Ball Joint is notoriously difficult to diagnose whilst on the car and almost as difficult when BB is removed. Does the knocking disappear when left foot braking over the rough ground whilst maintaining forward motion ? It's usually the passenger side that goes first as well. benjy88 Posted July 14, 2013 Share Posted July 14, 2013 Absolutely 100% agree with ATTAK Z, just had mine changed... same thing, slight knocking on passenger side... which developed into more of a 'cannon-fire' type sound eventually... had it changed.
