My 350z progress thread

So did a few ICE bits today, mostly fixes and simple stuff but chuffed with how it's worked.

My Steering wheel controls weren't working so I pulled the console out to check connections and found the adaptor had come unplugged, easy fix.

Whilst I had it out I ran the microphone as the guy who fitted the HU forgot it. I also ran an AUX lead and USB lead into the centre tunnel.

USB was easy as it ran to the arm rest compartment but had to drill a hole in the ash tray for the AUX to allow it to fit flush.

Anyway some photos:

Well what a days work ha

Managed to get the following bits done today:

Adjustable front drop links fitted.

Eibach rear camber kit to allow camber to be adjusted.

Cobra resonated middle pipe and back box.

Zunsport black grill.

New plates fitted and front bracket removed.

Most difficult but was the middle pipe as the permanent bolts attaching to the Y pipe snapped off when undoing so I had to drill them out and fit new bolts instead.

So here's the photos:

The arms were easy enough, drilling the holes in the control arm mounting was a little trickier but nothing major.

The drilling was easier as I had taken the back box off to change it anyway so could get a drill in there easily.

Still nothing too difficult though :)

So tonight i had a bit of time so removed the undertray which was hanging down and took off the front lip to sand and repaint.

I also had a go at spraying the front sides of the engine with UHT black to tidy it up a bit, pics to come :)

So one thing I have found out from spending the weekend down in Torquay....

My fuel gauge just says what it feels like!!!

After filling up before we left to the brim and then filling up with 20 miles DTE this morning it only took 50.05 litres to be brimmed again...

I did have the senders cleaned last year but seems they may be acting up again. Might be time for new?
