Shane Brede
I've only just got my first 350z a 54 plater ( lower tax ) & think it doesn't really matter what one you get just as long as you get a big grin on your face when driving it,

Level 7 Boss
Buyers market, take your time. Test drive a few so you know how they feel and what to look out for. The forum is a great resource. Good luck.
stuarty
If it was my cash, i would have the post 06 car for the same money. If you can save a few thousand pounds i'd by the pre facelift. Alternatively, save more cash and by an HR. also its worth thinking about how a perspective future buyer would feel about the higher road tax! Dblock
£5.5k for a 2004 on 80k is about right, there will always be someone that has had a better deal doesn't mean that is the market benchmark Yeah but I know a guy who bought a 2006 for £5k so everything is overpriced IMO Always buy the best you can for your budget. Newer cars do have better interiors and come with more power from the factory.
willttqs
Phoned up regarding three, and all had sold today! the blue ones seem to sell pretty quickly. convertibles seems pretty good prices as well at the moment, but not sure I really want one of those, although it is getting sunnier! jonst205
Mine will be going up for sale fairly soon! For me nearly 500 smackers on tax per year is too much, so I chose a pre-facelift.
Flex
OP, you could just go drive both and then make a more informed choice based on your personal preference? Just a thought?
rabbitstew
Personally id wait and go for a 313 model if you can wait and save up a bit longer.
willttqs
Do you think that this is likely to be a 300bhp version? http://www.autotrader.co.uk/classified/advert/201303215882988/sort/locasc/usedcars/transmission/manual/price-to/9000/model/350_z/make/nissan/onesearchad/used/onesearchad/nearlynew/onesearchad/new/radius/60/postcode/rg415bg/page/1?logcode=p i cannot afford a 313 unless i go for a 100,000 mile one, and i really do not want to spend more than 7 if i can really help it
JetSet
Do you think that this is likely to be a 300bhp version? http://www.autotrade...age/1?logcode=p No, that's a 276 registered in April 2006, so it'll be in the higher tax bracket. stanzed
Dont get all the fuss about paying a little extra tax. Works out less than £4 extra a week over the year!!
willttqs
i am not worried about the extra tax, i am more interested in seeing what the quality of the car is like, seeing a couple tomorrow, one post, one pre, so we shall see
stanzed
Not directed at you mate. I think when you find THE car the tax issue becomes irrelevent anyway. Good luck with the search.
L4V15
06 and after look much nicer from front end. Nicer headlights and tail lights. Better quality finish and more modern looking interior. I'm letting mine go for £6299 now if you're interested. Really need to sell it quickly http://www.350z-uk.com/topic/67826-uk-facelift-350z-gt-300-revup-grey-2006-gunmetal/
