Tarmac@TarmacSportz Posted March 27, 2013 Share Posted March 27, 2013 So Mrs Tarmac bought this for xmas for me and weather permitting I shall be doing the track day 3 weeks on Saturday at Silverston. Starts off with 4 laps in a 370z and then I think its 7 or 8 in the GTR.. Pretty excited about it to be honest, I know Godzilla is not everyones cup of tea but I love them. LRF4N Posted March 28, 2013 Share Posted March 28, 2013 The insurance is dirt cheap in case you do have a squeaky bum moment I was at silverstone a couple of years ago- Ferrari 360 and lotus exige s. Iv heard so many people say that the instructors restrict your right foot on track days but not there. They really encourage you to drive fast, brake late and hard. ChrisS Posted March 28, 2013 Share Posted March 28, 2013 Nice, drove one on track in 2011 got out and just two words. f*****g awesome. I made sure the instructor new I drove a zed daily (slight fabrication) and had driven other quick cars on road and track.(yes before I became an old fart) So I got to play with the floppy paddles.
