Y23DRH Posted April 26, 2013 Author Share Posted April 26, 2013 some updates on the car tinted the front bumper reflectors tinted the rear top brake light tinted the side indicators tinted the rear bumper lights and took off the 350z badge took the rear exhaust off and sprayed them black to be different fitted front and rear badges and added some carbon wrap to be different lowered the car down a bit more for a car show that night in london gave the engine some tlc collected some spare rear tyres should have took a diffrent car was a fun drive home from reigate with this on board and my boot to small to even fit one of them in :/ front z badge fitted Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Y23DRH Posted May 21, 2013 Author Share Posted May 21, 2013 few updates took the car to jez at horsham deveopments to have a 5/16th plenum spacer fitted on Friday last week managed to get extra 23bhp out of it being mapped tomorrow morning at horshams was 285bhp berfore the remap so should see a good gain i hope and also had to remove the induction kit and go back to the panle filter as it was loseing me power with induction was 262bhp on first run plenum fitted rose to 285 but still down on power as was 301 bhp at viezu when i got the car :/ but im sure the remap should help with the power increase took another photo of the plenum sapcer whilst thery were fitting it then sat down for a chat with jez about the power loss and soon as i got home fitted my panel filter back on then i got a bit carried away and almost got a speeding fine so got a roadangel just to remid me genuine carbon gear knob tunred up fitted my short shifter then fitted my alacanta gear gaiter and handbrake cover with purple stitching and my carbon gearknob also fitted the new gates belts Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Y23DRH Posted May 21, 2013 Author Share Posted May 21, 2013 (edited) then i got around to the front grill that i got form alex bumper off grill fitted in place grill all fitted and happy with the results fitted 8xsmd leds rear number plate lights also fitted the 8xsmd led side lights very bright and happy with the results lights on done with the xeons on aswell very very bright as i love on country roads i need the extra to spot pot holes and see where i am going lol still got few more bits to fit waiting on purple oil cap and my chrome coolant cap washer fluid cap power steering cap and chrome cover most probably wrap it carbon not keen on chrome radiator cap full set of purple 10mm bolts and washers need to sort a d1 spec throttle controller as well i love gadgets more the better carbon z side wing badge covers and im sure there be plenty more bits that i will buy lol Edited May 21, 2013 by F4ABP Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Y23DRH Posted June 5, 2013 Author Share Posted June 5, 2013 few updates been working hard on the car the d1 spec gold nuts i had on the car looked nice but upon taking a wheel off i find this :/ almost all the studs needing replaceing so after bit of hunting i got these orderd 20x extedned 65mm studs and at the same time i need some decent nuts so orderd some good quality forged ones cost £140 but there really good quality and i dont want to go down that route again of haveing the hassle of studs and nuts being replaced again then i had to get all the studs pressed in and refit all the spacers and wheel nuts back on the 25mm fornt spacers and 30mm rear spacers and wheel nuts fitted:) then the carbon zed badges arrived followed by them chrome coolant , power steering cap and washer bottle cap then the purple oil cap finally arrived follwed by the purple smiley valve caps Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Y23DRH Posted June 5, 2013 Author Share Posted June 5, 2013 then the 20x sick-speed purple bolts arrived need to order more tho :/ then i had the car serviced and all the oil changed and purple hks oil filter fitted and new spark plugs fittted then a couple of tins of cadburys purple pearl paint arrived lovely color and a couple tins of engine paint arrived as well started to paint the engine cover in the purple paint looks pink in the photos tho buts its defiantly purple then i started on the engine bay painting before after 5 hours of hard work then the engine covers goes and hides all the hard work ;/ still got to paint a few more bits and add another coat of paint and every single nut will be purple by Friday i hope and also still got to take the Calipers and brakes off to paint calipers purple and the dark bit the brake disc purple as welll ordered lots of purple engine hoses and purple cable ties and purple hks grounding kit purple sick speed fuel filter and braided purple hose kit purple & carbon aerial might also refit my custom induction kit and pipe as looks much better then the air box :/ thats it for now thanks for takeing the time to read and more updates will be added shortly Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
