Grounding kits...worth it?

I fancy doing a bit of DIY on the zed so I might give it a go. Looked at the guide about it earlier, does anyone know where exactly the 6th cable goes? Or the length?

 

Now, what colour do I choose

 

EDIT- seems like I can't find much in colour choice, red,black,silver & blue is all I can find

Im not about to run out and buy it but it does claim to smooth out the idle aswell. think its just a fancy looking capacitor

I found the grounding kit in my 350z made idle a little more stable. General consensus is that if you have good earthing already it wont make a difference, but its hard to tell if you have good grounding already without trying one!

D1 spec for me, was about £21 of eBay, slightly different purple...marginal difference in performance, if anything a slightly smoother idle.

I had them on my 300ZX but to be honest I couldn't tell if there was any difference. However they are an opportunity to dress up ones engine bay! 😀
