Hi all,

Been a while since i last posted, still a newbi really! Nurrish was going away for a trip around the world when i was here last.

I require a satnav system supplied and fitted for my 350z. Please, any help would be greatly appreciated.

Cheers

Who or what is a Cookbot system ??

Doesnt exist anymore. It was a guy on here similar to Nurrish who was making them for a few months but he disappeared too.

No one is currently making them on here, but they're really not difficult to make.

Just search for 7" sat nav on ebay and they're about £55 from China.

You then just need to dismantle the unit and mount it in your car. Easy.

Not sure anyone is offering the service anymore, I did mine myself, you just need a nav or tablet with a 7" screen and a sat nav cubby. Then hardwire it and mount a button or 2 somewhere to operate it.....

Or buy a TomTom

:poppy:

Sorry for taking this topic in a new direction. Anyone with a Nurrish Sat Nav have any ideas about how I can get my iPhone to connect to the Bluetooth?

Bluetooh on iPhone on, Bluetooth on system on but the "connect" icon on the nav system isn't active or 'selectable' so I don't seem to be able to connect the phone and system for dialling, accepting calles etc.

Any ideas?

Does the unit work with different phone?

Hi Graham,

I've got a few things to try so I'll take a crack at it with another phone and also a laptop to check the b/tooth connection. I fired a pm through to Nurrish as well in case he picks it up.

Thanks :)

Cookie may have his old nurrish nav.......might need a new screen though because he smashed a screwdriver through it in frustration.

Build one like Dave has done is the best bet.......or just go cheap and get Thomasthomaa
