I've added Berks HFCs and a Stillen Y pipe to a standard Nissan exhaust - it sounds so much better!

 

Lovely rasp starting at about 3k, it's quite noticeable inside but not obtrusive, 'droney' or loud from the inside - and no neighbours have complained on my 0530 departures to work since they've been on.

 

I've gone back to driving with the window open again just to hear...

 

And they came from one of Tarmacs group buys last year.

 

If you can get yourself to Gatwick you're welcome to have a ride and listen for yourself.

I know graham i cant wait. Im already hearing the potential of the stillen and i know what the berks is going to do to it andi seriously cant wait. I can see us having to do another hindhead tunnel meet to test out our berks lol.

Update - as a number of people were unsure what the berks would be like I contacted Tarmac and he sent through a set for me to fit and try as a guinea pig. It was also convenient as i am away on holiday next week and wanted them fitted before i go.

 

I have created a thread with a video of the comparison of the Stillen with and without the berks for you to see.

Obviously the impact the berks has will differ depending on the exhaust you have. I've had 2 now one on the milltek exhaust and one on the stillen and both are different but great in their own way

 

Does make me wonder what the berks would be like on a stock exhaust.

 

Tarmac said he should have the berks in stock next week so please feel to get in contact to organise payment and shipment.
