I noticed they had massive chipping at the top of thier alloys, were talking £1 to £2 coin size, so massive chunks missing. No i was once told this was illegal as it can seriously increase the chance of a Blow out if you hit a bump on the motorway etc.. I was told it was teh same penalty as bald tires, so 3 points per wheel that was effected. Is that the case and what is the penalty? Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Ekona Posted February 21, 2012 Share Posted February 21, 2012 There is no specific law on wheels as there is on tyres, however you may fall down under whether your vehicle is fit for use on the public roads and the many penalties attached to that.
