Stew Posted January 11, 2012 Posted January 11, 2012 I'd look at the car battery too. It does do the crazy tick when it's low. The engine is a big one to crank so if the battery isn't good it won't go. Quote

At the time I used to have no electrics whatsoever once turning the key but with this its ticking over. Symptoms the same as me now with regard to battery? Cheers Dave Quote

Thinking fuel pump myself but not heard about this much on Z's... 6-8 volts isnt enough to turn the engine. Guess what ........... ITS THE BATTERY! Quote
